ive done one show before and used a carb diet for prep. im a natural and i would say leaning towards endo so getting the fat off me was hell.
i had to get down to 1700 calories eating around 100g of carbs at 10 weeks out. what ive found to be the case is that the offseason before that prep i never went over 300g of carbs. i did this to aviod fat gain but realize now it may have made prep harder.
this time around i had my carbs up to 400+ in the offseason so im sure i wont have to drop very low very fast since my metabolism is much faster now having carbs much higher.
i have also used daves diet with success in the offseason just to see how i reacted. it worked great but i never ran it for more then 3-4 weeks at a time.
so im stuck on if i should run his diet the full prep. i will be doing a 14-15 week prep. so if i start to flatten out i may not know how to fix it and how to properly carb up before the show since this will be the first time. any sugestions?
