On this day 5 years ago I poisoned my soul for the last time.

Today is a good day, a day symbolic of new beginnings and blessings of good things to come. Thank you for partaking in this journey, and walking this rocky road of retribution with me a day at a time.

i love the way you worded that..its exactly how i feel..somedays i am more aware of this than others but all in all i try make each day a better day than the last..i try and help someone everyday too. but like my sponser said "you may not be able to help someone everyday/all the time, but you can always make sure you dont HURT someone" really made me think..happy belated congrats..

Thanks all! I have my struggles just like everyone else, but I always remind myself that my worst day sober is always better than any day spent under the influence.

I took me going to jail and then some to realize what the hell i was doing. I still have a hard time when certain things pop up in life or around some real old friends. But life is way better being sober and not having to hunt and spend everything have on something that is going to make you feel like complete ass later. Just hard headed I guess. But life is great :)
