With the help of Dave's diet i have lost a ton of weight pretty quickly, I am now in a mental rut due to having to look at this extra skin that i have. It looks like it is gonna cost a couple grand to have the extra skin removed, has anyone heard of any ways to get insurance to cover this type of surgery. I am hoping to get back on stage in early 2010 after 9 years of being away from competition, but with kids and this economy its hard to come up with the money to achieve this.

Wouldnt the best way to find out be to ask THE insurance company?

unfortunately they won't unless it hinders health...like if you were getting infections in the loose skin folds...other than that it is considered cometic...

try taking some MSM. MSM helps with loose skin. i've seen people lose almost 200 lb and not have any loose skin or need surgery, and they credit it to taking 4 Tablespoons of MSM a day. MSM also helps with your joints. they often mix it with oats and grains and feed it to race horses.. it tastes like utter crap.. but try googleing it or looking it up on youtube. :) i'm going to be taking it, for sure!
