I don't have a youtube account so it's on facebook, and before everyone starts saying I was cheating, I KNOW, I got like the first 4 or five on my own, and then I helped myself burnout on the last half.

and keep in mind I'm 18 and all natty

enjoi:cool:

that is a pretty good leg press. nice work.

curious, how do you come up with 1230? (I am not disputing the number at all so don't take it that way in case it sounds like that)

you can fit 12 plates on each side of that sled, so 24 total

and the kid that's on top weighs 150, give or take 5 lbs

24 x 45 = 1080
1080 + 150 = 1230

and I didn't take it that way at all, it's all good man

That is cool. I was wondering if you included sled weight which you didn't so that is real solid number.

You use a good full ROM, just remember to be careful to keep the hips planted in the seat, even if it limits your range of motion, it is worth it. I am currently recovering from 3 torn discs in lower back and while mine didn't occur on the leg press, the chiro and doc both said the the 45 degree Leg Press is about the most dangerous exercise you can do for the lower discs.... just food for thought.

Keep doing your thing bro and training hard, you are a strong kid for sure.

one legged leg presses are a bitch. I can leg press 12 plates with both but can only leg press 135 max on one legged ones. I think that if I can do 12 with two than i can do 6 with one? wrong LOL

Great job! Strong legs indeed. You better watch your lower back before you blow a disk. Leg presses are notorious for doing this you know if done wrong!

Yea, I always go just low enough to stress my legs, and if my lower back starts moving the slightest bit I stop.
