Alright so Im gonna start a permanent thread for my first ever contest prep. I will include regular picture updates and later video as well. I will be competing In mid September and October.

First show is 14 wks out - the last show is 18wks out right now

Today Im about 1.5 wks into my diet. Following Daves keto diet.. today is day 11.

I started doing 1hr cardio low intensity cardio before meal 1 every day

Since its my first time competing im not sure if I am dropping fat fast enough, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated... I'll see how I respond to the 1hr/day and then maybe bump it up in another week or two depending on how I look

what were your stats when you started dieting? good luck and keep us posted...

will be enhanced.. pretty low dosages - test around 500mg/wk.. with eq at 400 then bumped up in about 2 weeks or so.. last 8 weeks of prep will switch to winny and tren with test.

I began 1.5wks ago at 213lbs. Today I am about 205lbs. Im 5ft 10 inches tall and will do the Novice Middleweight division

GOD DAMN


just got back from LEG DAY.... intense shit.

My gym is in San Antonio.. pretty hardcore gym.. blast Metal and Rock.. no AC.. and just heavy fucking weight...solid training session.

Started off with squats I did 2 warm ups then moved into squats.
Squatted - 225 x 10reps x 4 sets.
225 x 10 x 1 sets (then drop set to 135 x 10 x 1)

In off season Ive gone up to about 300lbs for reps.. but Ive been really weak with squats lately. I dont like going much heavier since I dont really feel it with too much weight. I feel Im just trying to get the weight up without concentrating on my legs; you find your lower back and other muscles coming into play.

Anyways, I feel it the most with 225 - I go alll the way down and squeeze all the way up. Feels good.

Hack squats.. 3 plates a side x 4 sets x 10 reps

quads tight as hell.. exhausted and really tired at this point. The gym only has doors open (no AC) so it probably 95 degrees in there.. hard to breathe.

Walking lunges - 3 sets... 40lb dumbells..

Single leg Extensions .. 5 drop sets..

Solid Leg Day.. quality reps.. will do HAMS - Friday.

LIGHT WEIGHT!!!!!:flash:

hey AM, we've got close to the same stats. you're just a little taller than me. i'm doing my first prep too, for a show in the same time frame. i'll look forward to seeing how you shape up. good luck and work hard!!

eh, to be completely honest, i'm busy just trying to do the things i need to do to look good. i'm afraid i wouldn't keep up with a thread. i'll follow your thread though and look forward to seeing your transformation.
