Does anyone know how the "pre-sale" works?

Last year they sent me an e-mail and it had a link to Ticketmaster.

I think it's for VIP ticket sales.

Yep they did the same to me in 2008.

You have to join the official site for the newsletter etc. And i think you can link to the presale tickets on the site also. GM and I went in 2008 with VIP tickets and we had great seats for the mens and womens shows. Also don't miss the post show seminar, hardly anyone went in 2008 and it was great. (exept for some anoying pom woman down the front who kept asking about low carb diet oppinions.);):)

I can't wait but the real issue is finding a room!! All of downtown is nearly SOLD OUT already!!! sucks bigtime. I wanted to be able to walk to the expo instead of staying 11 miles away but i will keep searching for something closer

Sounds like the "modern" version of their old advance notice. I first started going in 1990 (stopped around 97 or so), back then, if you went and were on the mailing list, Lorimer sent you a letter in April or May telling you when the tickets would go on sale. I guess email replaced it while I was in hibernation.

It looks like Ticketmaster requires a code for the "pre-sale" though. Thought maybe it was like a many concert tickets now, pay $100 to join a "fan club" so you can get the chance to purchase a $300 ticket a week before the "general public."

seems like the rooms were all "booked" for 2010 the day we left. any suggestions where to stay if you have a car to drive in?

Ramada Plaza on Sinclair road, right off main highway, free shuttle anywhere, good rooms, good prices, stayed there the last 3 years.
