Aaron doesn't need our opinions on his "natural" claim. He has been "inside" the business and knows full well that O'Hearn is not natural. Aaron's a smart guy, no need for any guess work. The problem is there are many people on this site who don't know much about the dark side of the business and are easily swayed into believing someone like that is natural. I don't think it's right to paint a false perception of reality to these individuals. They deserve better.

For everyone that says there is no way he is natural I don't see any real evidence to back it up. He has an incredible physique but based on his obviously great genetics, knowledge and experience in training, and his strong discipline and work ethic I don't see his physique as being as unachievable as everyone thinks.
I think the main reason people don't believe he is natural is because they don't believe they could get to his same level as a natural themselves.
Most people can't deal with the fact that they can't achieve his level of physique without drugs because they: 1) Don't have the patience, 2) Have too much of an ego and won't ever admit they don't know as much about training and nutrition as they think they do and really don't know how to get to that level naturally, 3) Can't achieve his level even with drugs. Which puts them back at 2) because they think drugs are a band-aid for not knowing enough about the basics. These are the types of people that think if they just learn enough about steroids, gh, insulin, etc... it will make up for not mastering the basics like they think they have and drugs will fix everything.

Who the f. cares whether he's natural or not? The NPC certainly doesn't. He's doing an untested show. The assumption will be that he's on gear. Everyone else will be. If he isn't, he'd better be as good as someone who is. But Dave beat me to what I was going to say. If he can pass a test, do the Team U. It's his best chance for a pro card. The Arnold Amateur is stacked with international guys, some of whom are pro caliber.

I completely understand and agree. I also don't think that peoples sole evidence of proof should be observationally based and essentially comprise of "Hey, c'mon, look at it him! No way he's natural!"
Who's to really say what people are naturally capable of. Admittedly, most people...not so much. But lots of others are so quick to jump on a needle or oral we never have the chance to really see. I don't condemn or blame them I'm just saying we really don't have a lot of evidence to base what our perception of natural capabilities are.
I look at mike and I see an awesome physique but it doesn't scream drug use. His arms are big but not enormous. Everything is very well developed and defined...but not overly developed. Everything about him is symmetrical and he is by no mean small but I just don't see enough to warrant a guilt of lying and drug use purely through observational evidence.

I had my test level tested last year at the age of 46 and I was too high for replacement therapy. I was about 650 to 700 if I remember right. So I would not say guys just fall off a cliff hormone wise when they turn 40.

Although definitely not the case with Mike (sure he is on a decent stack), you make a good point. I think a lot of ex-pros especially like to make this claim. When Flex Wheeler was "The Natural Freak" I think it was later revealed he was on TRT. Having the testosterone levels of a healthy 18 year old is enhancement under any definition, especially for a middle aged man.

I think Mike is natural. If he used something in the past that's another story, but seen him since his late 90s pictures in the magazines, his appereance at the Battle Dome, then the new American Gladiators and now, you can compare him to any PRO Bodybuilder and he got the natural look with out the extra size...

If he can turn Pro in Bodybuilding: Yes, In all kind of federations NABA, the Natural Ones (OCB, etc), in the NPC could happened only at certain shows like the Teen Universe Master category...

I remember him very well at the Battle Dome and he was BIG there, don't know if he was Semi Off season or taking something but he was Above the Rest...
