ok, so my gf is into weights. once competed middleweight bb about 10 years ago. but since, has stuck to healthy eating, heavy lifting and has blown me away since we met a few months back. just wondering what the other women on here think....and might recommend. powerlifting? back to bb? just doing what she loves, lifting? she'll figure it out eventually.

so one workout she does....

centuries on leg days. and only centuries. has anyone else heard of these? she's up to 5.

I think she should just do what she loves..happiness is what matters! Tell her to follow her heart!

centuries are for legs.....put one plate on each side of the leg press....do 10 reps. add another....do 20 reps. add a 3rd, do 30 reps. and so on. until you can get to 10 plates on each side..and do 100 reps..all the way up and down. dammmmm.

chest yesterday. we trained via text, lol, since we don't live near one another. i did my own weights but the exercises were pretty much the same...

flat bench db presses 1x15x50, 1x12x55, 1x8x60, 65 supersetted with db flyes with 3x10x30
incline bench...she started with quarters on each side...did 15 reps, said it felt light bumped it
up to 135, did 2x5x135 ss w incline flyes 3x12x25
cable xovers...3x15x40
pec dec, one arm at a time...start at 85x15, worked up to 130x15, then both arms back down
again 10 reps to 85
skullcrushers....3x15x75
db kickbacks....3x15x30

she's the bomb, love the girl. maybe pics if i can get her to let me...or even get her ON here!

after napping all day after a night shift at the hospital where she works, the girl dragged herself to the gym and crushed it. pushpresses. she loves them. she does this warm-up set called 21-15-9's.......21 pushpresses with quarters on the bar, then runs over and does 21 L-chinups. comes right back, does 15 more pp's with 25's then 15 chins. tonite, she jumped up to 135 for her last set of presses and cranked out 9-- the whole floor stopped to watch, lol. then walked over and finished her 9 chinups. that's it. then a zumba class for her while i stayed on the floor. the girl amazes me. anyone else out there love pushpresses??
