View Full Version : Sick four weeks out

Yesterday I felt as though I was getting sick and sure enough I woke up this morning feeling horrible. Headache, very sore throat and pretty con jested. Today is a non-training day and I am a little over four weeks out from my contest. Should I skip my HIIT and/or low intensity cardio session (yeah two cardio sessions on wednesdays and sundays) to rest up and hope to get better quicker? Or just suck it up and push through it, even though it may not help the healing?

I'd do low intensity cardio, and do as much as you can without feeling sicker. What contest are you doing?

if you are running a fever concentrate on getting better...if not, you MAY need antibiotics to knock out that sore throat but you can stick to low intensity cardio. Stay hydrated and stay on your immune system supps.
