Just wanted to share an interview I conducted with one of my good friends Martin Mester. I hope the paperwork goes through and he's awarded an IFBB Pro Card. He's 100% Natural, hard working, speaks FIVE LANGUAGES FLUENTLY, and is one of the most driven men in the sport :) Congrats my friend!!

I, personally, say he won the show. Martin has
NAILED the ideal Physique physique. But that's just me.

He really doesn't have a great v-taper tbh. Has a bit of a big waist. May have been why he didn't "win"

"V-Taper" is a bodybuilding term. Men's Physique is a little different. Still, we can agree to disagree. Thanks for commenting.

Martins physique is on point! its a matter of time before he gets his recognition. All the competitors looked "good" but I personally think his sets the standard. Just my $0.02

How is v-taper a "bodybuilding" term. It is essentially just referring to ones waist to upper back/lat ratio. If you have a big waist and/or poorly developed back width, you have a bad v-taper. It is completely relevant and very important in men's physique. The ideal look they are rewarding is guys with a good sweep from upper lats/teres major down to waist. This guy, from the pics YOU posted, looks to have either a wide waist or a narrow back. Just what I am seeing...

Look at any top MP pro and you will see an impressive sweep in their lats down to their waist that you can see EVEN FROM THE FRONT. I see nothing of that nature in this guy from the front.

Well we can agree to disagree. Martin won the Arnold Europe and took 3rd in the U.S. - Arnold. He has great abs, great arms, he's good looking, and he has a great personality. He's going to go far in the sport. Thanks again for your comments.
