The French healthcare system is very good for the end user. Serge can get better there.

My point exactly. I'm sure the French docs are competent.

Well, according to the guy that visisted him they don't encourage him to get better, anyone can walk in and out to Serge and poison him or whatever they want to do,a "lady" that Serge hates are there all the time alone with Serge but supposed to be a friend of the family.

I don't say the french healthcare is bad,it's just that it depends where you are placed.............

Serge was sitting in front of me at Jr. Nats. He was pimpin some serious bling and was surrounded by a few women. He got up and spoke briefly, came back to his seat, his son had just placed top 5 in his class and his words to the girls he was with were... "lets go eat".

So in all... Serge was in good spirits. ;-)

It sounds like you have some of the facts and then mashed them all up. Serge was being poisoned, but that's been resolved. And it wasn't just people wandering in and out of his hospital room poisoning him. :(

There's no date on the announcement @ sergenubret.com.

The link below was in a forum on Dave Draper's site:

From April 14, 2009:

"Hi. My friend, Serge Nubret was deliberately poisoned. His photo is my avatar. He is at Laribroisiere Hospital in France in the Toxicology Department. He has been sedated there for the past 4 weeks. No one is allowed to see him but the family...most of whom he does not trust. He was in excellent health before. Now he's in a strange hypnotic zombie state for no reason...like he's all drugged up and does not recognize people some of the time. He should have been out of there after a few days. But he can not talk or eat or stay awake most of the time. He's lost a lot of weight. There is no heart or brain damage. His daughter is one of his doctors who is keeping everyone away from him. She is an anethetist and was not on speaking terms with him, but now controls his health and won't talk to anyone or let anyone see him."

April 15, 2009:

"Today my friends in France filed a police report to investigate and move him out of there. I pray he will have the strength to survive until they can intervene."

And MD actually has this posted by Shawn Ray:

"Dear Friends of Serge,

Tommy and I are putting together a card to send to Serge from all of his
friends and fans to show him love and support. Serge has been in the hospital since March 18 when he was poisoned at Pascale's apartment and sent to intensive care toxicology.

A police investigation has been going on for the past several weeks to fully examine all who were involved and the cover up at Lariboisiere Hospital (where Serge had been sedated/drugged into a state of coma/confused trance where he did not recognize anyone for over a month and could not move or talk).

His daughter, Karine, an anesthetist, was the doctor in charge of him. No one was allowed to see him. When the police became involved, Serge's condition started to improve immediately--less than 24 hours later he started to recognize people again after the drugs/sedation were ceased.

He is still unable to talk or move very much. Police District 10 is not giving out much information right now because of protocol/security procautions; some of his family are currently under investigation.

If you would like to add a message to Serge to lift his spirits, please send
it to me or to Tommy at [email protected] and it will be included on a card for him.

Before Serge was poisoned, he was in one of the best conditions of his life. His physique looked similar to and weighed the same as it had decades earlier at his best.

Because he had no heart attack/stroke and his heart/brain MRI was also normal, we are hoping for recovery of memory and health and that there
is no permanent damage from being poisoned, drugged and sedated. Please send him positive energy and prayers.

Thank you."

Damn, that sounds shady. I would suspect, with his movie career and gyms, Nubret might be worth a lot of money. I wonder if this is a family plot to get ahold of an early inheritance? Maybe the family was impatient with Serge's longevity.

Sounds like it would make a great episode of Law & Order Internaccional.

If so, I hope Serge lives strong and healthy to see them live out life sentences.

No Curt,i haven't mixed things up :(

The thing is that his family (including daughters) giving different stories all the time, they don't even know if he was poisoned, now they are saying he was diabetic.........this is from Tommy1988 that visited him at the hospital

""I spent a week in Paris not long ago to see Serge myself, I have been trying to get him help since I came back, because he needs it. I can say with some confidence that the updates we got before were all lies... I read him the card as he could not himself. He was touched by the messages from the people and fans here, but he is not happy in hospital. He is not in a very good condition and I am more than worried, I am concerned about how he is being treated there.I am concerned about the whole thing, the discreetness, everything. I spent 4-5 days with him.

I can briefly explain that he is not able to talk, he only makes noises.. He cannot move.
What has been done to him was not explained to me by anybody. I was actually in so much shock the first time I saw him that I cried in front of him and did not even sleep that night. I am not making it up, this is not a happy situation. I wish I could do more.. I'm sorry for not posting earlier, I was unsure of what to report back here.

Alot of people have now been informed of what Serge is going through, I hope he gets the necessary treatment to make a full recovery, because I was not sure if he was getting that when I saw him. He was not being encouraged to move, he was either in bed or sat down in a chair when I saw him. I was informed recently that he has now been moved to L'hopital Fernand Widal.""

""About Serge in hospital, I have been told 3 different stories by his children to why he is there... I saw him in person, read him the card, saw his reaction.. and alot of things I will share another time about what I witnessed. I can add this to the equation for you to think about.. when I was there and visited him in his room, i was not the only one, sometimes I was there on my own, sometimes with some of his friends or his family...
Alot of the time anybody could just walk into his room without the hospital staff even knowing you were there, and could do anything because Serge is struggling to move, and there is a lady who is a family friend, who Serge personally hates... and this woman was in his room most days from what I saw... without supervision from the hospital staff... so I would like to get him some protection/security at least.""

So he might have gotten killed? why is no one mentioning that?

First, it might have all been bogus. All we have are rumors and Internet articles. Not exactly the AP or verifiable news source. No offense to any authors like Rx member J.P.

Second, if a family member did poison Nubret, covered it up, and obviously never pressed charges...

Third, the incidents reported in this thread and on other boards took place in 2009. There may be no connection whatsoever between Nubret's death and these events (which may not have even taken place).

Fourth, Nubret was born in 1938. He would have been 72 in October. That advanced age could easily mean that Nubret died of natural causes.

Anyone else?

I would, however, love to hear some follow-up on the accusations presented in this thread and elsewhere.

All that aside, Rest in Peace to a legend, the great Serge Nubret.
