H: cuz i know how to do this within 3 months but im trying to do it faster
like a month
but what stuff should i eat in one month to get cut
just lean not big
just lean and cut
just what stuff should i eat
not the workout regiment
i just need to know what KIND of things i should eat

M: 6 smaller meals (eat every 3 hours)
Every meal = Protein, little bit of healthy fat, and little bit of good carbs (except at night). You want specific foods?

H: yeah

M: Ok for protein: chicken breast, egg whites, fish, extra lean ground beef, top round steak, protein powder

H: ehh im trying to do it without protein powder

M: For fat: fish oil, olive oil, almonds, natural peanut butter
And for carbs: brown rice, oatmeal

M: Sugar is THE worst thing when trying to lose weight

Just know that when you lose fat, even if you don't gain muscle, you'll LOOK more muscular

Like I said it's extremely hard to gain muscle AND lose fat
Only very few people can do it

Because working out will ensure that you KEEP the muscle you have

H: cuz if people wanna gain muscle
they have to increase their weights and wrok out

M: If you just diet and don't workout, you'll lose fat and muscle and end up looking lanky

H: im just slightly increasing mine
but still mostly light weight workout
but NO CHEATING

M: Dude it's not like you're gonna wake up one day looking all huge, just work out heavy

I know a dude like that. He once had pizza and soda for breakfast and when I commented on his healthy choice, he said "What? Pizza is a good source of carbs. I need energy." Do I need to mention that he is fat?

the part I loved.. well HATED.. is when he said something along the lines of "oh, well yeah I already knew that and I already eat fish and chicken" !!!

ugg.. just 3 days ago I sent this chubby girl, who is trying to lose weight and always asking me questions about cardio etc, dave's 2 lectures on omega fats (from probodybuilding.com) ((i thought it would save me hours of explanation by just providing the lectures)) and she responds..

"thanks, but I already knew all this and I already do everything he says as well.. thanks anyways"

I havent answered her questions anymore.. people lie to themselves left and right... discipline and honesty will go a looooong way in this endeavor. I would know, I used to be fat! lol

What gets me my former track teammates email me like I have some magic way...they are like wow I have to do all that....hell I did/do all that....

Wow I would have told them to shut up. How out of shape is he? Cause it's definitely possible to lose fat and build muscle at the same time, if you start when you're fat. Once you get to low number BF's it gets harder.

Other than that, he's retarded. I've delt with situations like this so many times.

Ask me for help, I guide them, and get something back like "nooo I can't eat breakfast it makes me feel gross."

I love the "I can't do that" people or the "I don't want to get too big" people. You're on a fucking diet, you aint gonna get any "Bigger". I had a buddy tell me he was doing a ketogenic diet...that lasted for like 6 hours:lmao:, then the next day he said he was just gonna watch what he ate. This was as we were at McDonalds and I was getting my 6 McDoubles(love that dollar menu in the off season!). I asked him what he wanted and he said nothing I'll just eat somewhere healthier...we went to freakin Wendy's and he got a double baconator value meal super sized(or what ever the hell Wendy's calls it) and a 5 piece Chicken nuggets:eek:...Way to watch what you eat...go right down your throat...lol

I would engage in these conversations alot for a while. Afterall I lost over 125lbs and thats gonna spark some questions. So for a while I enjoyed it, then after all the stupid ass comments I got back and incessantly repeating myself I just dont have the patience anymore. NOW that I have been dieting hardcore the past 2 weeks I have even less patience. I snapped at two people last week who can't help but ask stupid questions. One guy I threatened to feed a grenade to and the other something along the lines of "Why the fuck do you keep asking me this shit. Do you just like ot hear yourself talk. Do you think talking about it will help you lose weight. I give you practical advice thats simple to follow and the next day you are drinking cans of Pepsi at your desk. You sir have no respect for my time. Thats an hour of my life I will never get back and this is another 30 seconds." I apologized later on becuase it was a bit harsh.

I can deal with it if people are genuine and heed at least SOME of my advice. But dont waste my fucking time with bullshit. Or worse tell me what you do now and how thats much better than what I do, b/c if you know so much then STFU!

omg! I thought it was so cool of you to want to share knowledge but dang:cool:...I am the same way but one thing I learned when some people ask me workout questions is that I am wasting my time because I already know they are not going to follow any of the advice...I get stopped all the time with questions...now I just tell them to sign up on rxmuscle.com and read:D
