i know everyone in this section prob hates reps. ive been doing them as part of my training lately and they are brutal.

so what are your guys perspective?

agreed. I hate rep work. much rather pull a big single. I do think the rep work is crucial though. It is a great way to vary the intensity (stress on the CNS).

i know youre right. what ive been messing up is im just going too heavy(heavy for me).

hypertrophy work.

every exercise, every set. 8-20+reps.well I don't do it that way exactly... I like to alternate heavy one week and reps the next. For example:
last week I pulled 545 for a triple (heavy) and did the log press for reps. This week I pulled 475 x 12 (rep work) and did heavy z presses (3x3).

IF you do every move and ever set with high volume, make sure you crank up the calories the day before and that day!!

I really don't enjoy rep work, I don't like anymore than 6 reps
