If Barry Sanders had been RB for the Cowboys under the Jimmy Johnson era, there is no telling how many yards he would have had. On the flip side, if Emmitt had played for Detroit he would have been an average running back at best.

Barry Sanders is the best running back I've ever seen by far. He was great without a great line and if he played a few extra years he would have all the flashy numbers even without a good line.

Barry probably was better than Emmitt but Emmitt was perfect for the Cowboys during their Super Bowl years.Many times Dallas took a seven point lead into the fourth quarter and then just ran Emmitt behind that big offensive line and would just wear the defense down.Barry ,if he had a fault is that he got tackled behind the line of scrimmage alot.
