I figured I would toss some pictures up from the beginning to current time working with Shelby.. Its been quite the experience and I think I have gained a good bit of knowledge and muscle :).

I am 23 years old (7/20/89), and about 5'8.5.. Im not positive, but I know i am around there give or take 1/2"

Here is where I started

237.8 pounds 12/23/11. 20 weeks out

221.6 pounds 2/14/12. 12.5 weeks out

196.8 3/24/12. 7 weeks out

184.4 5/8/12. 4 days out

I ended up weighing in at like 193, the last couple days didn't go smoothly.. I did something stupid with my supplementation and got a bad "reaction". Got super stressed out, retained a bunch of water etc etc.. Oh well, live and learn :)... I wasn't as conditioned as I feel I should have been, but that is certainly not Shelbys fault. It's my own.. I came to him at 20 weeks out thinking I was big and had muscle, when in reality I was just a fatty who was like 60 pounds heavier than my contest weight (terrible Idea, never again).. Shelby is a damn good nutritionist, but not a freakin magician lol

Here we go, we entered offseason.

231 pounds 6/11/12. 1 month post comp

232.2 pounds 12/9/12. 7 months post comp

228.6 pounds 6/23/13. Roughly 13.5 months post comp

As you can see, my weight hasn't change too much this offseason. I do feel that I have made some solid gains though.. Hopefully I will be able to compete 5ish pounds heavier next time I step on stage, but in better shape and all that good stuff.. Maybe around 190 pounds? I would be very happy with that.

That's been my journey so far.. I have about 10 weeks of offseason left, and then I am going to take a break and figure out when i will compete again.. I am guessing something in the spring time.
