hah, i guess the massive gh guts count as pregnant.

well the linea alba is "genetic." it can even be discriminated in some children to separate the rectus abs. now diastasis recti is a label used to discriminate a separation or pulling apart of the rectus abdominals or the increased prominance of the linea alba. this is commonly used for or seen in post pregnant women. a funny observation is a not so common belief that to "fix" the "separation" is to apply pressure medially to the rectus abs while performing crunches. anyone else heard of other ways to "fix" this problem?

The massive gut putting pressure on the abdominal wall.. GH causes the gut.

really but ive seen other bodybuilders with massive guts like gustavo badell, markus ruhl, and marcus haley and their abs aren't like that

Just goes to show just how much bigger and better Ronnie is that the competition. Dex doesn't stand a chance against an uninjured Coleman!

i dont think it has to do with big guts, cuz i believe lee haney's abs were like that and he never had a big gut

Actually, Cutler is a perfect example...Hes probably the biggest guy on stage currently and his mid-section is all together

Call me old fashion, but I prefer Dexter physique in that shot... then again I have never been a fan of Coleman's physique...

Good point for sure, but it's nice to know that a physique like Dex's can actually win the olympia now... Personally, even considering Ronnie's credentials, I would rock Dex's physique any day of the week!

apparently, some bodybuilders may be scored down for anomalies such diastasis rectic or "real separations/tears." e.g., markus ruhl and his inner pectoralis/chest anomly. not sure though how one may judge whether to score down or not.

Personally i never thought it could have been genetics that made thier abs that way. Ive never seen any of the old pros with abs like that.
