3 day program 1 day off then repeat. Says he's been doing this his whole career. Has anyone tried something like this? No pyramid sets or anything just same weight for each set then move up each week.

This

Steve Holman, writer for IM and creator of many training methodologies, received a letter from a fan once. The fan stated, "Why should I listen to someone like you for advice and not a professional, after all, the professional is much much bigger."

Steve Holman goes on to explain that the guy answered his own question. Why would you listen to a genetic freak ? They could do anything and achieve above average development. Steve Holman has shit genetics and has attained a decent physique. Although, to achieve that physique he has had to bang his head against the wall for many years.

That being said, his routine has obviously done wonders for his physique. I know he was real big into pressing 225 for like 50 reps or something.

I've been doing this routine for about a year and a half. I took some time off but have been back at it for 3 months. Im far from a genetic freak but gained 10 lbs of muscle (body fat dropped) in 2 months on it with no supplements, just ate a ton of protein (to the point of constipation). Still post constipation I had gained 10lbs and about an 1in or 1.5 inches on my arms and I've never been able to make my arms grow till this program. I do everything the program says except legs twice a week. Only do those once a week, twice a week I literally get sick. I'd try it, and stop blaming the mans progress on roids or genes. I can see how after 2 years Serge looked completely as good as he did.

Serge had an amazing physique, one of my favorites but it just sounds like over training, especially for someone NATURAL

Who know's what will work for your body until you try it. Put in the work and see what transpires.
