Can I use the Ekke21 app instead? Does the article say if he's looking at significant jail time or just that he's been apprehended?

Thank you for posting this news. :-(

It was in 2009 that Martin Kjellström arrested by Swedish police after one of the greatest anti-doping crackdown - "Operation Liquid". Among other things seized doping substances, pharmaceuticals and medical equipment for over 10 million USD.

That doesn't sound good.

I thought they released him on that. You mean he fled and now they caught up with him? Jeebus!

If he was going to run, should have been more mindful of extradition laws...

In the UK there's no extradition, he must of agreed to leave for sweeden for a litter sentence

Aha...good info, I wasn't aware of that.

If it's just a steroid charge, I hope he's able to barter a lesser sentence. If he was dealing narcotics, I hope he's butt-raped in prison.

I'm from Sweden so why not read my first article with RX "The Death of Swedish Bodybuilding?"

It will give you some insight of the circumstances of the new juice laws in sweden and some info about Martin case (operation liquid). I actually dislike the whole affair and how he handled the situation.

Just did that...and this isn't freedom:

During exercises, heavy sets and repetitions, two police officers enter the gym. They start to look around the area and speak quietly to each other. After a short while they walk up to a young guy who is resting on the bench of a Smith machine and start to ask him questions about his membership at the gym and his age. “Well, I have been a member for two years and I’m 24 years old,” he replies. Shortly thereafter they tell him to follow them outside the building. He now looks confused and asks, “Why?”In response they show their badges, tell him the same thing again and that he doesn’t have a choice. He now follows them outside of the building. The two policemen explain to him that he is suspected of using AAS because of his muscular physique.
Afterwards they put him in the back seat of their car and bring him to the station for questioning and a urine sample. Meanwhile the prosecutor also decides that there will be a shakedown of his apartment in search of steroids.
New political priorities and laws against AAS are setting in

They can basically walk up to any guy with big muscles, take him downtown, drug test him and search his apartment.

This only makes sense if there are like no big people in Sweden at all.

Another consequence – besides the law change – was that a new term was introduced, called “muscle profiling” where police look for possible steroid users based on abnormal muscle development and especially the “trapezius” then allowing them to force the suspected person to provide a urine sample. Later on, based on their testosterone level, they risked being charged.

Seriously...how is this ok?

You see a guy with big traps and this means he has given enough info to be searched?

It's messy in many ways. I'm glad the interview and the situation did interest you.

You have no idea!

They harassed Irene Andersen before.

They harass everyone who has more shoulder width than a snake.... almost!

Things has calmed down though. Sweden is entering tough times due to immigration, to afford all that shit they cant spend time and money chasing bodybuilders anymore. They have to deal with car bombs, suicide bombers, riots and shit now :byeb:

something is not right, I don't see them giving bail to pro bodybuilder, that's been in shit for aas in the past, maybe if you were the president they would give you bail, the (crown prosecution services in the uk) or the people in the sweden that give you jail or bail, would not bail you for 10 million usd of the greatest anti-doping crackdown, and for such a big case they would take his passport, something is fishy

Messy? You referring to being treated like a criminal for having capped delts, visible lats and pecs? Horrible laws in Sweden. Planet Fitness must have gotten their start there. :(

I enjoyed speaking with Martin in Prague & Tijuana last year. Sorry to hear he is facing jail time. :(
