Earlier this month, he was campaigning to become (http://www.mmafighting.com/news/2009/02/02/kimo-leopoldo-applies-csac-exec-officer-position) executive director of the California State Athletic Commission. Now, Kimo Leopoldo is under arrest for allegedly possessing methamphetamine and donning Long Beach Police Department attire.
TMZ reported tonight (http://www.tmz.com/2009/02/16/cops-ufc-legend-has-finally-meth-his-match/) that the former Ultimate Fighting Championship contender was arrested Monday in Tustin for possession of meth and wearing a Long Beach Police jumpsuit and cloth badge.
Leopoldo fought Royce Gracie at UFC 3, but hasn't been in the organization since 2004. His most recent mixed martial arts bout was in 2006.

Kimo is one of the biggest jokes in MMA. His last fight in the UFC was in 2004 against Ken Shamrock- after which, he tested positive for steroids (Winny I think). He was supposed to fight Bas Rutten a while ago and tested positive for steroids again... He tried to fight clean after this had had the shittest performances of his life (3 losses against nobodys) and was a lot smaller and had no cardio!!

Fuck him.. His thug drug mentality is old school and not needed in MMA!

wow, its funny to see whats happening to alot of these guys who started in UFC back when it first was in production, either there injured, on drugs, found dead in a desert or still in the octagon/ring getting there ass whipped. the shelf life on these guys isnt very long at all

I remember UFC 3 he almost beat Gracie. That's when they did single elimination matches. Some guys would fight 4X in a night!!! Kimo worked for my buddy out in California, when he was running a Security Company, said he was a bad dude!
