View Full Version : Leg training & cardio?

Hey all,

This is how Ive been alternating leg training with cardio-

Wed & Saturday - HIIT cardio (AM) and leg weight training (PM),
Mon & Thursday - SSS cardio (45-60 minutes)

Wed is low rep/hi weight 3-5 reps (squats, SLDLs & lunges) & Sat is hi rep day (3 sets of 20 reps of each of those). So, any suggestions? Im not a huge fan of cardio, but I dont want to drop it completely...

Unless you are dieting down for a show you should never do cardio on the same day as a hard leg training day. ;)

What are your current goals and stats?

Hi Ronnie- Im not dieting for a show right now...my stats- 5'6" 123, about 15%BF (calipers). Current goals?? thats a tough one. Id like to compete again, but not until year end.
