Hi all! I am new to the forum. I'm 47, and have been on blood pressure meds for many years, so that is under control now. However, I just had bloodwork done, and my test level was only 124! Also, my liver enzymes and bad cholesterol # was up. Prior to this, I was using a supplement for boosting my test that had D-Aspartic acid. I saw online that this may increase cholesterol and liver enzymes, so I stopped using it. The dr wants more bloodwork done, and may resort to THE JUICE, or some other test therapy. Does anyone out there have any suggestions for me? Are there any supplements I can safely use? Has anyone else had this problem? 2 years ago, I was using a supplement and benched 230lbs as a max bench. Now, I feel tired and weak. HELP GUYS! :yep:

You need to consider TRT because 124 is very low. The good news is that once you get on even a low dose of test you should respond very well to it. I listened to Dave Palumbo on Iron Rage the other day and he said when he went to jail his test levels fell to under 20 and once he started his replacement of 200mg of week of test cyp he started making gains.
But your live enzymes and cholesterol are related because with a compromised liver your body cannot produce enough HDL cholesterol. I would recommend fish oil or any type of Omega FA supplement because this has a very dramatic effect on your HDL.
