All the studies seemed to show that if you are naturally agressive, it will make you more aggressive and if you are calm steroids make you more calm. AAS basically move you closer to your natural tendencies. I say complete myth.

This is a good topic. The media loves a story and a catchy headline. If someone is abusive, the title "Roid Rage" sounds much more appealing then just "Abusive Man"


I personally have never experienced any sort of rage from using steroids. A small increase in aggression, sure, but it has never effected my mood or personality.

In other words.... they do nothing.

Rage is rage. It comes from rage. Nothing else. We all know guys who have horrendous rage, who can't even spell the word steroid.

With the plethora of things that go into rage, thinking steroids CAUSE it is just fucking ludicrous. If you are juicing from a beach house in Hawaii surrounded by hot women ..... you probably wont rage. ... If you work the customer service counter 50 hours per week at the local Walmart, or you are married to/dating a massive cunt, you will probably bash your face of the wall with rage several days a week without even knowing what a steroid is.

as I've matured I do not get effected by androgen use at all. I think it really depends on a persons tempermant and maturity level.. but in the same token there are a ton of short tempered idiots out there who never even touched steroids.. they just grew up in an abusive home or something.. so blaming steroids is silly, why not blame their dad?
