So I am currently 3 weeks out and have been running 0.75 mg Nolvadex for 3 weeks. I have seen great body fat losses so far, but wondering if switching to Arimidex would help to get rid of the tough abdomen/love handle areas that I am still holding.
Opinions?

If switching is a good idea, then at what dosage?

26 yo Female; Women's Physique; 5'4; 140.4 lbs

Also running: Var since 10 weeks out
Clen/Winstrol since 6 weeks out

I have not personally used arimidex but based on friends and acquaintances who have used it, they have described it to me as terrible post-show with the rebounding issue-I have heard this less with nolva

See this article, about 1/4 of the way down - the "Anti-Estrogens" section : http://forums.rxmuscle.com/showthread.php?114136-Women-amp-Drugs

Technically, AIs like arimidex & aromasin are intended to inhibit the conversion of testosterone to estrogen. Women (except maybe more aggressive FBBs) don't generally use AAS that converts to estrogen at an aggressive level, so don't need it. I know women do use these, but I agree w/ Diva - particularly arimidex is a "suicide inhibitor" - very aggressively shuts down estrogen, and a nice big fat rebound when you stop the cycle. Aromasin is less aggressive in the sense of still being much more aggressive than Nolva, but not as much as Adex.

My personal opinion? You have 3 weeks left. I wouldn't start fiddling w/ your program w/ drugs you have no experience with. I would focus very tightly on your diet, training, cardio & recovery at this point. I don't know if you've competed before, but there are very dramatic changes that come the last weeks into a show.

I would also suggest that you look at how you are responding to the var. It is not uncommon that var produces a certain amount of water retention - if you notice that you're experiencing this, you can drop the var at 7-10 days out, and any water that it is promoting will naturally drop off as the compound starts clearing. Note the detection time of var is 3 weeks, so during that time up to your show you don't need to worry about the var not being in your system - it still needs those 3 weeks to fully clear your system.

Some other tricks you can use at this point - cardio while wearing a sauna suit is one of my go-tos. I use a sauna suit doing walking cardio for my morning cardio getting closer to the show. You'll sweat bullets and as you get closer, you're already sort of beat up in terms of energy and the sweating cardio will definitely show that. Don't cut water - be careful to not get dehydrated.
