i've been having trouble really feeling my lats while doing lat pulldowns, what do some of yous do to really get a good squeeze, pump and muscle mind connection for the lats while doing lat pulls??? every other back excersise i feel great but for some reason i just cant feel these(which is a problem since its one of the best excersises for lats), where do you's bring the bar down too for the best squeeze?? upper chest? lower chest? chin? thanksss....

try to pull the elbows down as far as possible. that'll get the squeeze. i also envision a penny in the middle of my spine and i try to squeeze the penny as hard as possible at the bottom of the movement

I see a lot of guys in the gym pulling so much with there arms that they actually go past the chin then move their hands forward towards the machine. I dont know a better way to word this accept they look like they are worshiping the machine they are on.

Edit:
Also if you can work them hard till they are sore then practice flexing them. That way you know what it feels like when you squeeze it. It will help with your squeeze while training.

I would focus on keeping a deep arch in the lower back, something like this http://tbn1.google.com/images?q=tbn:YQVh91I-mUrKhM:http://www.muscle-fitness.com.au/sei/s/1789/435.jpg (there is one of Dorian doing pulldowns but I can't seem to find it)

I found I can feel it better with a natural grip (palms in), if your using proper form as noted above I wold say next try different hand grips and bars. Make sure you squeeze the lat at the bottom and hold for a sec.

Keep your thumbs out, don't wrap'em around the bar. Go slow and squeeze lats hard for 1-2 at the bottom of the move.

get someone to put a finger right under that lat.. and you should feel it.. and eventually be able to do it on your own..
