I don't think this comes as a surprise due to the injury, but hearing it tonight really made me realize it'll be another 12+ months until we see Lee Priest onstage again. :(

There will be another excuse in 2010, I'm sure. He could have taken care of the bicep months ago. It's only now, with Kai coming down to the Aussie Pro, that he opts for surgery. Awfully convenient, isn't it?

Yeah the Wolf article threw off the bullshit alarm for everyone...I wish Priest would compete already...I don't care if he looks a little off just want to see him out there again.

In his most recent pictures he DOES NOT look like he is any where near 5 weeks out. I think Lee made this decision a long time ago. From looking at the pictures, I would also say he made a smart move... that injury would certainly hurt his placement. The sad thing is the longer Lee is away from the stage, the less chance I think we will have to see him compete again.

Fixed.

I'm a big fan of Lee, but this is too bad man. First he had the evil hangnail from hell, than his ex-girlfriend closed his hand in the drawer and now this bicep surgery. Now, we all now that when Lee gets depressed, he does crazy things. It wouldn't surprise me if he get's a tattoo on the other side of his face ;)

Can someone give me the back story (and pics, if possible) on Lee's injury? I've been out of the loop for a while.

He is still young enough to take time off and still come back, he's been around for a long time but he's only early 30's. BUT if his surgery doesnt fix the injury properly, he needs to retire.....
