Hey guys. I'm new to this thing, so bear with me. So lately I've been just feeling like crap. No energy, intensity down with the weights, can't satisfy the wife as of late. I had a run in with AAS back in my early 20s. Dumb mistake, I was dead set on competing back then, but some things happened and I decided to go back to school and quit that kind of life until I got my degree. That was about 5 years ago. No problems since then until these last few months. I had a feeling it was my testosterone levels based on my history. Had to beg my doctor to test my levels. Came back 296. Unfortunately I have no reference to what I was before any AAS. I'm only 25, so I asked my doctor about something I could do to help out. He told me those levels were normal for someone my age and all I had to do to raise them was diet and exercise, which didn't satisfy me because that's what I do already. We consult endo sometimes at the hospital, and I know what the reference ranges are so that pissed me off even more. So my doctor goes on a huge 10 minute tangent about why obsession with testosterone levels is unhealthy and there's no reason to be concerned and pretty much flat out told me he would never prescribed me HRT. I don't want my levels sky high or anything, I just want them to be normal. So obviously I'm going to get a second opinion, but is there anything else I can do in my situation other than TRT? I think people used to do hcg blasts followed by nolva and clomid. Would that still be effective years after? Don't be too harsh, I'm trying to learn.
