I honestly know nothing about MMA but it seems like this guy was a loose cannon.

I feel sort of bad for the guy. I think we would all go a bit nuts of we saw our father die before our very eyes while trying to give CPR and then have a drug addict as a mother on top of it.

I hope he gets the help needs in prison and is linked up with a good phycologist.

Seems odd for a dude to be jealous when he's dating a porn star. Makes no sense. I guess he probably had major issues from childhood and mental issues that never got resolved. Prison is the best place for this guy where he can't do anything further.

yeah mental health issues maybe slight psychopathology mixed in with major insecurity issues in this particular case. I don't have much details on the guy but from little I read that's my 2 cent. don't think the roids made him like this most likely help bring these issues out in him. by no means are all fighters like this or fight for the same reasons though

MMA seems to have much higher numbers of wife beaters than most sports.

There's actually a fair number of them in Major League Baseball. Most of the time the charges are dropped by the wives or girlfriends, but MLB is now handing out penalties (X number of games missed, & fines) even for the allegations, if proved to their investigators' satisfaction.
