Seriously. At least strength athletes don't get branded or stereotyped as often as bodybuilders do.

I don't get why bodybuilders get more the stereotype then strength athletes, strength athletes are in it for one purpose. to lift as heavy as possible and they don't care what they look like. Bodybuilders while weight is a concern, they also focus on there appearance as well.

It's the vanity factor prevalent in bodybuilding that results in the stereotype. That, and most bodybuilders cannot converse about or relate to anything that does not pertain to diet, training or their bodyfat percentage.

i know several strongmen with multiple degrees...one has chem and mech engineering.
another is a forensic scientist.
we all aint so dumb...

There's a strongman at my gym and the guy is really smart, I think he's a physicst or something like that
