I am trying to drop the extra weight I've put on since I was injured and, at the same time, trying to bulk up a bit. I know how to bulk, normally, but, since I'm trying to lose weight and, restore my cardio fitness at the same time I'm strugleing a bit.
I'm lifting hard and heavy two to three times a week and putting in at least a half hour of fast pace work on my road bike another three to four days. The gym time has been productive, measureably, but I find that I'm hitting the wall on the cardio days mich sooner then I'd like and I'm feeling more fatigued than I'd like. I'm taking in about 2800 calories a day. About 50% from protein and the rest is slow carbs and fat. I've almost completely eliminated simple sugars.
What I'd like to know is should I lower the protein and add carbs? Up calories with more carbs or maybe use a glycogen replacement suplament like FRS or R4(?) to help with the endurence and fatigue?
Thank you all in advance.
