I am not a strongman or PLer, but I have worked out at Brute Strength a couple of times (until they found out I was a bodybuilder...lol)
I just happened to be looking at their website today, saw that they were having a two day meet on August 8-9. Day 1 is powerlifting, day 2 is Oly lifting.

Thought I would let you guys know in case you needed an excuse to come to Norfolk/Va Beach for a long weekend of lifting and then R&R at the beach!
At worst maybe interested parties can get on their mailing list for future events. This gym is very awesome.
