So I cannot afford another gym and have to use my apartment complex facility.
Fortunately, if has plenty of fairly recent machines, including a cable machine (the kind that has rotating arms). We also have some resistance bands. But our free weights only go up to fifty pounds.
How am I going to simulate a bench press, deadlift, or squat with these machines? Or, how would you handle this situation? Sure, the machines have sufficient weight to permit training in the low, medium or high rep areas, but the range of motion is terribly restricted. I also love the big 3 (BP, deadlift, squat).
Any thoughts?
