All Jokes aside, the purpose of this thread was meant to be lighthearted, sweet and sentimental. You will always find me in here showing a genuine interest and love for the people who frequent these forums. I am not above anyone and need support myself from time to time, so threads like these are therapeutic for me and for those among us who share the same struggles.

I do not think I quite grasp the joke behind your comment on adrenaline alley being a petting zoo so I will refrain from expressing my opinions on that. Adrenaline alley is where you will find the many people like me who struggle with addiction. I have always lived my life in the fast lane and the purpose of this thread is to inspire others to slow down from time to time to appreciate and cherish the simpler things that most of us tend to take for granted.

This thread might be an expression of MY views on how my life has improved since I have been sober, but you would have to have spent a day in my shoes to relate and appreciate the sentiments expressed in these pictures. This thread was not for entertainment purposes. It is a genuine yet humorous depiction of the drastic changes and abundance of blessings that an addict finds in his recovery.

It is a reminder of the purpose of this journey that brings us closer to that salvation and the promise of infinite possibilities, a day at a time.
