View Full Version : What is your protocol for the last week of a comp.(training and cardio)?

Do you still strength train as always or perhaps just go through the motions to get a good pump and blood flow? That and cardio. When do you stop your cardio?
I was thinking of just getting a good pump throughout the week, very limited cardio, and focus more on practicing my posing all week.
Good or bad idea? What do you do?
Any input is most appreciated here bros.

if your pre judge is on a saturday then stop your training on wednesday. i do entire upper body every day light sets with high reps and i use cables for everything. stop training your legs 1wk out...

Have your last training session (pref legs) a week out from the show and cardio IMO should be stopped 3-5 days out.

2 weeks out I like to go to full body workouts EOD. Off days I pose and do my longer cardio days.
