idk. i was never really impressed with his fights. hes good at submitting people thats about it. i cant stand the way he throws his punches. he must have never even been to a real boxing gym. if he tried to box a real boxer he would get his ass knocked out in seconds. so he has to rely on his submissions

Excited to see Guillard fight again. I still remember how hard I laughed when he knocked out Gabe "Loser" Rudeger with that body shot. Diaz is a wizard on ground but likes to stand, but I dont think he'll want to for long with Guillard. Interested to see how fellow Canadian, Stout, will do as well.

The fight has been cancelled after Nover reportedly had a seizure backstage while prepping for the bout.

Round 1

Jensen submitted Steinbeiss.

Steinbeiss opens the scoring with a quck jab. He throws a high kick that Jensen easily avoids. Jensen counters with a left hook. Steinbeiss answers with a flurry of shots that leave Jensen covering up against the cage. Jensen rushes forward and body locks his opponent to the mat. From half-guard, Jensen grounds and pounds with punches and elbows. With two minutes left, Steinbeiss gets his guard back. Jensen stands in the guard, dropping elbows and more punches. Steinbeiss pushes him away with his feet and tries to get to his feet. Jensen jumps into a guillotine choke but he can't get full guard. Steinbeiss looks to be fine, but referee Gary Ritter thought he was out. He went to check his right arm and Steinbeiss appeared to give him the thumbs up but Ritter jumped in to stop the bout at 3:56 of the first.

Much to the consternation of Steinbeiss, his corner and the crowd, this fight was stopped prematurely.

Brock Larson vs. Mike Pierce

Round 1
Larson charges in but Pierce changes levels and tries to hit a takedown. Larson grabs a whizzer and staves him off for a moment but Pierce picks him up and plants him to the canvas. Larson immediately starts working his way back to his feet and gets close before Pierce pulls him back down. They are stalled along the cage with Pierce, on top, elbowing to the body while Larson works on a Kimura. Larson escapes by pushing Pierce away with his feet and standing. He starts firing as soon as he is upright. He backs Pierce up with a one-two. Pierce wades back in and eats another flurry of punches from Larson as the round comes to a close. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Brock Larson.

Round 2
Pierce shoots back in for a takedown as the second frame gets underway. Larson, with his back against the cage fires a couple knees that backs Pierce up. The fighters exchange in the middle of the cage before Pierce gets a body-lock and takes Larson back down. Larson pushes his head down and walks up the cage but Pierce, holding on for dear life, drags him back down. Larson does it again and again but he cannot get free from Pierce. Larson gets one leg free and locks up a Kimura but he can’t hold on and finds himself in the middle of the cage with Pierce in his guard. Pierce has been solid with the takedowns but has done absolutely nothing with them. Larson stands at the end of the round and shakes his head at his opponent. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Pierce because of the takedowns only.

Round 3
Larson lands a nice knee as Pierce started to change levels for a shot. Larson rushes him with punches but Pierce shows a good chin as he locks him up. The fighters take turns spinning each other into the cage. Pierce goes to the foot stomp offense while Larson tries to knee to the body. Pierce lifts Larson into the air and grounds him. Pierce tries to pass to side-control but Larson denies him. Larson working his way back to his feet along the cage but Pierce pulls his legs out and plants him again. Pierce knees to the body as Larson continues to try to get to his feet. Larson gets back to his feet with 10 seconds left and Pierce continues to hug him along the cage. The crowd is not happy and Pierce shakes his head as he goes back to his corner. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Pierce. In a perfect world this would be a draw because of a complete lack of offense. The official scores are 30-27 on all cards for Mike Pierce.

Stephens stopped Buchholz.

Stephens comes out slinging leather and Buchholz refuses to back down. The fighters stand and trade with Stephens throwing punches and Buchholz answering with kicks and punches. Just over a minute in the pace slows a bit, Buchholz lands a good leg kick and a two punch combination. Stephens answers with a flying knee and another knee that drops Buchholz along the cage. Stephens tries to finish with a flurry but Buchholz leans in and grabs a leg, as Stephens tried to defend, Buchholz gets back to his feet. Buchholz gets back on the offensive, throwing as he moves forward. Stephens backs up for a moment but leaps back in with a flying knee that backed Buchholz into the cage, he landed another knee that dropped him. Buchholz tried to cover up but Stephens pounded away with punches, eventually cutting him over the left eye. Buchholz did get back to his feet but referee Kevin Nix asked for the ringside physician to check the cut and he determined Buchholz could not continue. Jeremy Stephens wins by TKO at 3:32 of round one.

Jay Silva vs. CB Dollaway

Round 1
Silva walks Dollaway down with his hands down to start the fight. Dollaway greets him with a kick to the body. Silva charges in with punches that back his opponent into the cage, from there Dollaway changes levels and puts Silva on his back. Dollaway tries to work into the mount but Silva defends and gets back to his feet. Silva fires away with punches again but as the fighters clinch Dollaway puts him back on the canvas. Silva gets back to his feet again but after taking a grazing head kick he finds himself on his back once again. Dollaway squeezes Silva up against the cage and with 40 seconds left he opens up with some ground and pound. Silva kicks Dollaway back and gets to his feet with 15 seconds left. He unleashes a series of strikes including a jumping kick to the body before he is grounded once again at the horn. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Dollaway.

Dollaway edged Silva.

Dollaway opens the second with a booming right kick to the body of Silva. Silva answers with some big punches of his own one of which drops Dollaway to the mat. Dollaway goes back to his wrestling roots and latches onto a leg and gets the takedown. Silva goes for a Kimura but Dollaway is patient and works his way free. He immediately passes to mount before Silva gives up his back. Dollaway rolls onto his back and works for the rear naked choke but Silva defends several attempts well. Silva gets to his knees but Dollaway tries to roll him back over. Dollaway gets back to mount but he can’t land much as Silva holds on until the end of the round. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Dollaway.

Round 3
Silva taunts Dollaway by sticking his chin out to start the third and final round. Dollaway obliges him and pops a couple jabs before Silva unloads with punches that drop Dollaway. He throws a knee as Dollaway lunges in for a takedown and tries to strike his scrambling opponent but Dollaway latches on and gets top position. Silva grabs another Kimura but Dollaway knees to the body until he lets it go. Dollaway gets to mount but is quickly swept by Silva. Silva pounds away wildly but Dollaway gets his guard. Silva backs away and motions for Dollaway to join him on the feet. Silva lands a flying knee and Dollaway drops to his knees to notch another takedown. Dollaway has blood all over his forehead as the cut is over the left eye. Dollaway in mount as the fight ends but not doing much with it. Sherdog.com scores the third round 10-9 for Silva.

Silva is in much better condition after the fight. He is jumping around getting the crowd going while Dollaway can barely stand for the decision.

The official scores are 29-28 on all three cards for the winner, CB Dollaway.

Dollaway leaves the ring under the assistance of Trevor and Todd Lally. He is wobbly, and stated was very sick last night. Silva gets a big round of cheers as he leaves the arena.

Chris Wilson vs. Mike Pyle

Round 1
Wilson rushes in after a brief feeling out period and pushes Pyle up against the cage. Pyle fights off the underhooks and escapes from Wilson’s clutches. Wilson throws a knee but Pyle catches it and pushes him backwards and to the mat. Pyle working some ground and pound from inside Wilson’s guard, but nothing too damaging. Pyle stands out of Wilson’s guard but refuses to let his opponent up before diving back in. Pyle executes some more ground and pound as the clock ticks down. Wilson back to his feet with 10 seconds left. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Pyle.

Pyle caught Wilson in a choke.

Wilson lands a sloppy left hook that briefly staggers Pyle early in round two. Pyle looks no worse for the wear, the fighters clinch and Pyle hits a takedown right back into Wilson’s guard. Wilson tries to get back to his feet but Pyle grabs his ankle and drives him back to the canvas. A lot of clutching and positional work between the fighters has the crowd a little restless. Wilson latches onto an arm but Pyle defends the submission well. Referee Dan Miragliotta has seen enough of the slow-paced groundwork and stands the fighters back up. Wilson shoots in but Pyle sprawls and attempts a head and arm choke, Wilson escapes and the fighters exchange punches with Wilson landing on a covering Pyle as the round ends. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Pyle.

Round 3
Wilson chases down Pyle and pushes him into the cage and knees him to the midsection. Wilson avoids a kick and lands a looping right hook that has no affect on Pyle. Wilson shoots with just under three minutes left in the fight but Pyle is ready for him. He sinks a guillotine choke and wraps right leg over Wilson’s back to eliminate his escape. Wilson fights off the submission as long as he can but eventually taps out at 2:15 of the final round.

Steve Cantwell vs. Brian Stann

Round 1
Cantwell and Stann circle the cage and exchange punches but neither seems willing to sell out on their shots this early in the fight. Stann lands a nice straight right with about two minutes left in the first round. Cantwell doing a lot of the chasing and begins to find his mark. He has reddened Stann’s right cheek and lands another heavy punch to his retreating opponent. Stann answers with a body kick with just 20 seconds remaining in the round. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Steve Cantwell based on his aggression in a somewhat slow round.

Stann edged Cantwell.

Stann lands a nice three-punch combination but follows it up with a low blow. Cantwell shakes it off and tells the referee he is ready to continue right away. Cantwell continues to walk Stann down and cut off the cage but he can’t find his mark on a consistent basis. Stann lunges into another combination, this one a two-piece that slows down Cantwell briefly. Cantwell misses with a high kick. Stann looks to be gaining more and more confidence as the fight goes on. Stann jumps in and lands another three-punch combination. With 40 seconds left, Stann clinches and looks for a takedown but Cantwell shrugs him off. Stann lands a straight right and fights off a takedown attempt by Cantwell in the final 10 seconds of the second round. Sherdog.com scores the round 10-9 for Stann.

Round 3
Cantwell lands a grazing right that puts a wince on Stann’s face. Cantwell lands a kick to the body and a nice left hook. The crowd is booing this fight loudly now. Neither fighter really seems to want to open up, they are trading decent shots in short bursts but they look like they are fighting not to lose. This is the third fight between these guys with each fighter winning by TKO. Perhaps there is too much respect between the foes. With one minute left the boos are back. The third round has been even slower paced than the previous two. Sherdog.com scores the final round 10-10.

Quarry just got drilled and then almost got choked out by Tim, but somhow they made back to their feet.

Credeur comes forward and jabs. Credeur stays behind the jab and unloads kicks to the lead leg and body of Quarry. A teep kick from Credeur connects. As does another kick to the body. Credeur, while sloppy and looks to be lacking power, is peppering his opponent early on as a right-hand lead lands clean. Quarry connects with a right hand, his first clean strike of the fight. Credeur unloads with a flurry and Quarry connects with a two-punch counter. Credeur goes back to the body with a kick. It sets up a right hand that sends Quarry to his knees. Credeur pounces with punches and Quarry rolls over. Credeur takes his back and looks for a rear-naked choke, but he can’t sink the hold. Quarry’s nose is busted, but he escapes danger and stands to his feet. The exciting round ends with a nice exchange, with Credeur getting the best of it.

Quarry outslugged Credeur.

Round two starts with a hurricane of action as both fighters open up. Credeur tees off and Quarry unloads with counter punches from both hands that send Credeur backwards and to the mat. Quarry pounds away from the top position as the now bleeding Credeur works his guard. Credeur keeps an open guard and works the wrists of his opponent. Quarry is showing good defense as he has found a perfect distance to defend the open guard and score with punches. Credeur looks for an armbar and Quarry has none of it. Credeur lands an open-handed strike from his back. Quarry finally mixes in punches with his left hand after going exclusive with his right for several minutes.

Round 3
Again Credeur tees off with punches to start a round, only to leave his chin unguarded. Quarry slips in a right hand that rocks his prey’s world. Credeur falls and Quarry lets him stand after briefly engaging on the ground. A slugfest ensues, and Quarry’s counter punching nets him another clean knockdown from a right hook. Quarry hops on top and elbows the head after fighting off a heel-hook attempt. The pace slows as Quarry rests from the top. Credeur is displaying an active guard, but Quarry is focused on only defending as he checks the round clock. 1:10 remains. Quarry continues to ride it out and referee Herb Dean stands the fighters. Credeur slips throwing a headkick. Technically, the fight was sloppy, yet extremely action packed.

Condit stands and is cracked by an Ellenberger left hand. Ellenberger blasts Condit with three straight right hands that knocks Condit flat. Ellenberger tries to finish with a brabo choke. Condit escapes and unloads three knees from the Thai plum before he is hit with a head kick and an amazing right-handed haymaker. He falls flat. Condit recovers and looks for an armbar. Ellenberger sees it coming and stands. The frame closes with an exchange on the feet. Both fighters land.

Ellenberger gets a clean double-leg takedown to start round two. Condit goes high with his hips in search of a triangle. Ellenberger escapes and scores with a short-right elbow. Condit uses a kimura transition to stand, but is easily dragged back down. Again Condit looks for a kimura. Condit’s guard is closed, and the kimura is tight. Condit transitions to the mount and lets go of the arm. Ellenberger gets to half guard, only to be mounted again. Condit lands punches from both hands on the top and Ellenberger rolls over and takes the top position in Condit’s guard. Condit elbows the top of the head from guard. Ellenberger stands and Condit follows. Ellenberger is gassed. Condit lands a hard left to the body as the horn sounds.

Condit stays patient and frees his head. Condit takes over momentum and punches from the top for several minutes until Ellenberger sweeps with 1:20 remaining. Condit gets to his feet and stops a single leg. Condit transitions to the top. The former WEC champion punches from the top until the horn sounds.

Condit wins the decision.

Huerta attacks the lead leg of Maynard with a low kick. Maynard stalks Huerta around the Octagon as both men pause to unload. It’s clear that Maynard is the more refined striker. Huerta continues to execute a low kick attack to attempt to setup his hands. Huerta cracksa Maynard with a right hand. Maynard’s knees buckle and he retreats. Huerta calmly presses the action and lands a left hook. Maynard shoots a single and Huerta defends with neck control and then a sprawl. Excellent defense from Huerta.

Huerta moves forward to start round two. Huerta goes back to low kicks and is hit with a right-hand counter. Huerta kicks both the inside and outside of Maynard’s lead leg. Maynard is starting to time Huerta’s attack as he lands two straight right hands. A jab on the chin knocks an off-balanced Huerta to the floor. He stands and flurries at Maynard, who shows improved footwork in circling away from the aggression. Maynard lands a hard-straight right to the body. Maynard’s straighter punches are starting to have an impact as the tiring fighters find themselves in the pocket more than their gameplans called for.

Maynard controls from on top and sneaks around to get a double leg. The fighters scramble and Maynard has a kimura. The hold is extremely tight, but Huerta refuses to tap. Huerta rolls with it and much to Maynard’s surprise, he escapes. Maynard scores another double. Huerta stands and the time expires as the fighters are tied up in a clinch against the cage.

Finally Nate Diaz vs. Melvin Guillard, I'm taking Diaz, but I'm rooting for Guillard.

Diaz stands and gets a takedown as he transitions from a trip to a double leg. Guillard stands and throws Diaz to the floor. Guillard stands and Diaz, now bleeding from a cut above the right eye, gets a sneaky single leg. Guillard stands. Diaz is the aggressor, pumping a southpaw jab. Guillard counters and clips Diaz on the chin with a right hand. Guillard’s footwork is vastly improved. Head movement, too. He bobs and weaves to avoid Diaz’s jab.

Guillard slams home a crushing kick to the body and a standing elbow. Diaz is simply being outclassed on the feet. Diaz punches the body and thigh from the clinch and Guillard trips him to the floor. Diaz is in a position to look for a leg submission and Guillard has none of it. Guillard stands and gets a single leg. Diaz goes immediately to the guillotine. He locks it on and applies pressure with his top leg. Game over: Guillard taps.

Stout and Nover getting payed is a good act from the UfC. The pay is what it is. It is low,but no one tells these guys to do it. When you hire for a job if you don't like the pay do something else. Anyways if you can keep winning or putting on good shows than the pay goes up and you could take on a bonus from time to time.
