which would be a better way to go? i wanna gain some good size in the off season but wanna do it right not just fat shite weight, here is my dilemma, it will cost me €45 for a 5lb tub of weight gainer that will give me 20 servings or i can get a whey protein for the same price that will give me 50 servings but only 200 cals as against 700 from the gainer,i could add oats and friut to the whey to add calories and carbs. Also which foods are best to eat in the offseason and are macdonalds,bk,etc etc ok to eat once a week?

Yes for the money it is worth it to make your own weight gainer. Jay Cutler eats in n out burgers every night of the off season so yes fast food is ok for bulking. Just dont let your bf% get out of hand.

yea gainers seem to have way to many calories for most people....i think the only people who would benifit from them are super naturally skinny dudes who have crazy metabolisms

i agree with lilfella, fast food isnt bad for bulking, but whey isolate and oats is a great supp that helped me put on a few pounds. its cheap and effective
