Now this may be an old topic, but I have not heard anyone talk about it before. Why is it that people don't use EAS protein powder anymore?

they prolly drink the rtd. All the pro footballers drink it ( its one of the only supplement companies permitted in the nfl). The rtd isn't too bad. The powder sucks though...

I use it. I get a five pound bag from Sam's Club (like Costco or BJs for you folks not in the know) for about 20 some bucks. It tastes okay, actually. I've had shit a lot worse. Not sure where some of you are getting the "it's not smooth" stuff from. I mix it in a shaker and I get no clumps whatsoever.

I always use 2 chocolate 100% whey shakes per day along with pb. or almonds for meals in my pre-contest prep.

EAS is a good, economical proteing powder, but it isn't the best tasting powder you can get. Good to use when your pocket book is low. There pre made shakes taste great IMO.

i get it from sams too... $28 for 5lbs. finally gave up on ON after it went over $80... not the best protein but i mixes just fine for me using an old school shaker.

its over $83 for a 10lb bag at prosource.net and affordablesupplements.com.... so basically over $40 for 5lbs when it costs 28 for 5lbs of EAS at Sam's. doesn't sound like much but still in college lol

Count me among the Sam's club members. I use eas because its cheap. Plus I'm doing a keto diet, so with 1 1/2 tbsp. of PB the taste is actually pretty good to me.

EAS is a great supplement company, but they don't have ANY bodybuilding focus. If you take a close look at their website, they specialyze their products mostly for endurance athletes.Protein is a requirement for ANY person.. Bodybuilders simply have a higher demand for protein for obvious reasons.. I would say their whey protein is good, but there are other supplement companies in which I would rather invest my money when buying whey protein.

Personally, I rather buy EAS meal replacement line products over their whey protein line.

I use to get it from BJ/costco for sub 25 for 5 lbs, but I think they changed the formula 2 years ago or so, because it went from fucking horrible to tolerable. There are cheaper tastier options.

The thing with the Splenda option, though, is that if you're drinking more than one or two shakes a day, it probably wouldn't be too great an idea.

I have a 2 lb container of EAS vanilla that is almost emptied. Not bad. I found that it mixes better with water than with cold milk (lumps up at times with the milk).

No idea on whether it has fallen out of popularity and, if so, why. I picked it up at the local Target as it was the right price and EAS.

MT gives me more gas than EAS although, yeah, MT does taste better, imo.
