I'm in Edmond, Oklahoma at the Total Package promoted by Darrell Terrell. I have a friend/client in the Mens Masters, Robert Pitchford. Robert is 5'-8" and weighed in at 177 last night. He is shredded! I expect him to win the Masters. Rx is covering the show, so look for the pics as they get posted!

Just got home from Edmond. Robert nearly took the whole show. He won the Masters by default....he was the only competitor. He won the Novice after a grueling comparison round with about 10 minutes straight of posing. And, in my opinion, should have won the Open. However, the fella that won had more size than Robert, but wasn't nearly as ripped as Robert. And Robert had better overall symmetry. But it is about muscle and hats off to the open winner. He wasn't undeserving in that department. And I think he was surprised that he beat Robert, too, judging by his reaction to the announcement.

Anyway, musch respect to my friend for all the hard work, long diet without carbs, and the youthful energy he put into his presentation. Masters ROCK!!!!!

51 competitors, 17 of whom were Hot Body competitors and a couple of them crossed over to figure or men's bbing. I was surprised to see no female bbers at all.

Thanks for the kind words Rick! You already know what I think of the work you did with me. This post is for everyone else to know that you are on top of your game. As you told me when we started this "journey", there are several ways to "skin a cat." Given your keen eye, and knowledge of how my body likes to store fat, you informed me that the "no carb" route would probably be best suited for me. As anyone who has tried this program realizes very quickly, it is not for the faint of heart. Yet for this 47 year old man, it worked wonders. I sit here and write this, proud of the fact that the "oldsters" almost took the entire show. I have not stuffed myself silly since the show, and can still see every vein in my ab's, thighs, calves, etc...! Rick is a no BS person, which is exactly what anyone would want when seeking advice. If you DON"T want to hear the truth about diet/training/cardio, then don't ask the big man! Thanks again, Rick, for your friendship, knowledge, and expertise. Every bit of suffering was worth it, and we made the over 40 crowd proud of our work!

First place in his class x2 (Masters/Novice), overall winner in Masters and Novice, and 2nd in open Light heavyweight = 5 trophies. I can't suppose what the judges thought, but I can imagine that since it was close between Robert and the LH class winner (who won the overall open), they felt that giving the nod to Robert would've been too much....winning every division.

I did. He hasn't decided on a specific show, but it will most likely be next summer.
