I have never bulked before, i cut down from 200ish 22ish% BF to now about 180lbs 11-13%, I am going to shut out what lots of people are saying, and
LIFT BIG + EAT CLEAN + REST

Im 21
5'9

i want to get up to about 210lbs 16% or slightly less, then cut down to about 9-12% bodyfat

want to be about 190-195 and lean, i am all natty. this will be my 1st year ever trying to gain weight, I think this is my one year, im 21 never bulked im going for it.

Also my goals are not aesthetic there more for strength and performance for wrestling

I figure at 5'9 with LBM around 170 i will be happy for now

Your thoughts?

Whats your question? Can you get to 210 @ 16%bf?

If you do a very clean bulk and slowly put on weight you could do it.

You sure can do it. I'm a bit shorter than you and all natural...and am close to that now at a lesser bf.

is this achievable in 6-8 months?
2-3lbs a month?

Now THAT probably isn't, unless you're either a) a genetic freak or b) no longer natural.

Yeah...I think it is possible...when you perfect your rest/training/diet...and keep a close monitor on it...you will need to train at a high intensity...just make sure you don't overtrain and keep yourself monitored...

Probably not. I'll give you my numbers as far as weight goes not % because I dont do BF%. From one contest-the next contest. Hope thiss helps. In 6 months I went from a contest weight of 185lbs to an off-season weight of 230lbs. I maintained for a few months and then dieted down to 195lbs on stage. This means a net gain of 10lbs in 12 months including dieting down. Mind you I think I was able to do this for a few reasons.
1. This was my first off-season. In 24 months I was in contest prep for all but 10 weeks. So therefore my body really responded well to eating more food.
2. I followed an off-season diet. Food scale, measuring cups, and all that stuff the whole year.
3. Never skipped a workout. Ever. I never have and never will.
4. I didnt cheap out on supplements in the off-season. lots of people dont use nearly as much supps off-season that they do pre-contest. When your natty, you grow a lot more in the off-season then you do up to a show while dieting.
I think if you get someone doing your diets, training, and supplementing that knows there stuff you could probably do the same thing as me because your the same age.

Guys...it is possible if you really put your mind to it...but it must be well planned...and focused...that will be the hardest part...8 months of focus...

best thing to do first IMO is to track a maintenance calorie baseline of 5 to 7 days on fitday. Then, add 10-20% more fat and protein in, depending on your metabolism, how well you assimilate the added calories. Track again for two weeks. If your weight goes up a half lb each week, then chances are youre spot on.

Just my two cents. Hope this helps.

Another way to figure it would be to do some math for maintenance if tracking isnt your thing: Try 13-15 x bodyweight for a week or two and adjust as necessary. (For obese folks, it may be lower than this, like 12x bodyweight or even less to drop weight). My friend gave me this and she's a wizard at numbers.

I completely agree, as I have done the same.

Even during the off season I still very closely monitor my intake day in, and day out.

My supplementation is also very well planned and laid out.

I eat certain foods at certain times of the day. I also supplement that way as well.

That said, once everything is in order the true measure of growth is going to be a person's intensity in the gym.
You literally have to be willing to work balls to the wall.

Many people do not really workout as hard as THEY think they do....Mentally you have to be willing to take yourself into a different world...
