Old couples holding hands.

When my sister-in-law sends me pictures drawn by my nephews. (Around Christmas I was getting lots of Star Wars lightsabre battle scenes. The most recent set had lots of American flags.)

My cat sitting on the "waiting chair", waiting for me when I come in the house from work.

When my roses bloom.

Girls & young guys (people who traditionally have no clue or are too busy trying to look like they have a clue) at my gym using good, tight form.

Getting together w/ people I haven't seen in 2 yrs... I stayed w/ friends at the Arnold this weekend - I text / talk to them at least a couple times / week, but haven't actually seen them in 2 yrs. It was great from the moment we met at the baggage claim in Dayton to the drop off at the end of the weekend. I also got a nice surprise seeing Bill Wilmore walking around the Expo after about 3 yrs. Sometimes it doesn't take much :)

-my 5 year old american pitbull...the wrinkles on his face, when he does his high-pitched puppy bark, when he does his tricks for a treat, when he carries a size 5 soccer ball in his mouth when we go for walks...ect

-seeing people from the past who thought they were better than me and now they're an obese single mother living off the system with 3 kids on their hip all by different fathers

-snuggling in warm blankets on the couch with a cup of coffee or tea

-watching my class of kindergarten'ers learn and discover new things...the funny stories they tell and the silly gifts they bring me everyday

-being sober for 3 years and being in the most mentally balanced and best physical shape of my life
