Here it is iron brothers and sisters. The thread to depict me winning the RXMuscle/Species Arnold challenge that has been thrown down.

You can watch it all unveiled right here and follow along with my fatass as I drop the remaining weight....which will be a small person.

I dropped 60 last year which you can see from the first picture. I will drop probably another 40 now. That is 100 fucking pounds man. I cannot believe I was THAT fat. The 2nd and 3rd pics are today, starting the challenge.

I will take pictures every 2 weeks so you can watch the transformation for yourself and see the winner in action!

Definitely determined. I have always been the fat guy. NO MORE. I have more spirit than most people half my age. Thanks for the compliments bud. I appreciate it.

I have always had the mindset that I wasn't benching shit until I had 2 plates loaded per side. I think that came from my brother being a bodybuilder early in life, and hanging around football players who were obviously stronger and bigger than I was. I have never benched 2 plates before. I know for some of you, that ain't nuttin but a peanut but to me, it is a bench mark of bodybuilding.

Today, I met that benchmark. Totally proud like a little kid scoring a touchdown. Fucking brilliantly awesome to me. Sorry if you guys don't get it. But I felt like I just climbed and tackled my biggest hurdle.

It is amazing what you can push yourself to do when you have a spotter. So, I went to the biggest guy in the place and asked for a spot for my last 2 sets.

Incline Bench press
45/25 135/12 185/10 205/7 225/6 - both pr's
HS ISO decline press
90/12 230/8 230/7 pr
Flat DB press
55/10 70/10 70/8
Peck deck 7's
80x10x7 I can still go another 10 higher on this next time

30 minutes on the treadmill afterwards keeping my heartrate between 135-140, then took a 15 minute steam.

Off to work boys

Food was on point with what I ate today, but I walked into work this morning and got ambushed with stuff going haywire. Right away, I missed my first small meal. Pissed me off and it went downhill from there. I did miss 2 meals today so my cals are low damnit.

Calories 1600
Protein 161
Carbs 91
Fat 62

And that is assuming I can down the 3 eggs before bed in an hour and a half after eating 7oz of salmon and a bunch of green beans. Not looking good for it.

Did 30 minutes of cardio this morning, thinking about doing another 30 now. Or just playing madden and pretending I'm doing cardio...LOL

I'd love to but I have a hard enough time sleeping as it is. I am only getting like 5 hours of sleep and I'm dying for it everyday but cannot sleep for the life of me.


Protein is about 100g too low.
Correct E. I am averaging about 200 to 250 but I had a messed up day with meetings and ended up missing 2 meals

Great back workout this morning. I cruised through the rest periods. It felt like I was waiting forever between sets but this workout only took 40 minutes so I couldn't have been waiting all that long.

Strength is through the friggin roof right now. Size is packing the hell on and fat is dissappearing. I taped my gut and chest 2 weeks ago, the start of this challenge, and last night. Boy was I surprised at the gut. In 2 weeks the difference is....oh oh oh.....not just yet my friends. You have to wait for the 2 week mark from this challenge to get that update! LOL

45/15 135/10 185/10 (up 2 reps) 205/7 (up 2 reps)

I was suppose to hit deads or hypers today but I have a team building event this afternoon that one of the events is bowling 3 games so I left my lower back out of the game today.

Then I took a 15 minutes steam. I really like taking that steam. It seems to refresh me for some reason.

So far I have 2 whey shakes in, cottage cheese, I am about to have some PB, and then pasta and salad for lunch with Salmon and green beans for dinner, and 3 Omega eggs for dessert...LOL

Had my planned cheat today at lunch. I knew I had a big team building thing-a-ma-job for work so I had 3 slices of pizza but ate clean before and eating clean tonight.

I don't like having the cheat in the middle of the week like this, because then I can't eat a "normal" meal with my family on the weekend but you do what you ahve to do sometimes.

I wasn't going tos tep on the scale at all during this process but I "accidentally" did AFTER the pizza....All I will say right now is I am DOWN DOWN DOWN already....woohoo.

My wife was commenting on the changes happening right before her eyes and asked a simple question that kicked me right in the tenders.....
"You have such a big upper body, why are your legs so small compared to your upper body?" OUCH

So guess what I worked today?

I never get comment on my arms during the off-season, when they measure their largest. I get stares and compliments within the last 4 weeks leading up to a contest, when they are 1.5" smaller!

The first time this happened, a guy said my arms were looking huge. I laughed at him and said, You're kidding, right? I've lost 1.5" off of them in the past 16 weeks. He didn't believe me.

It's all a huge illusion!

So I worked shoulders this morning. I don't have my log book with me but I did upright rows
Seated Db press
Lateral raises and thats where things went haywire.
Last week or so, I was telling you guys how my shoulder was bothering me from the HS iso decline machine. Well, when I did the lateral raises I felt like my left arm was coming off my body. Holy shit it hurt. Obviously i stopped (3rd set) and just figured I would do some front raises or shrugs and call it a day. I couldn't even lift the dumbbells or the bar for shrugs!!

Well, its been like 10 hours now and my shoulder does not hurt a bit. But, I think I will not train shoulders for a couple of weeks. No worries, no pain is a good thing here.

Big D...go all in and get on the Palumbo style Keto. I have no idea how many calories I eat. I dropped fat like greased lightning.

Saturday example after my Friday Leptin (carb) load.

50 grams whey upon waking
2 whole Omega eggs plus 10 whites scrambled.
Large celery stick filled with sugar free P nutt butter
50 grams whey
2 cans of salt free tuna with a small dab of mayo and 1 teaspoon relish
50 grams whey
Large celery stick/P nutt butter
Small all greens salad with olive oil/Balsamic vinegar
8 oz. Rib Eye steak
50 grams whey at sleep time

There is some 8 grams carbs in ea. whey drink plus I counted 4 grams added to my tuna, 6 for the P nutt butter. 42 grams total?? I take about 6-8 fish oil capsules per day. Lets say 96 grams.Total fat? 375 protein grams. I actualy read the label on my whey can for the first time....

So that would be 375 protein
96 fat
42 carbs
Calories...???

(and the Doctor wants to know why I have gout when there is no genetic history for it in my family)

Hey Baldie. Thanks for the info. I used Palumbo and his diet last year to come down 60 pounds. I know it can work but it literally took a year for me using it. My body doesn't respond as some people do so I am finding what works for me. Right now I am at about 135-150 carbs a day and none after lunch-ish. So far I am down a 1/2 inch on the waist and I am seeing some positive changes coming about without a drop on the scale number. At some point i will go full Keto for sure but not just yet.

I have not slept more than 4 hours per night for almost a month now.

I took one of these comatose last night. At about the 20 minutes mark I though "hmmm I feel nothing". At about 35 minutes I thought " this is irritating, I feel nothing". 45 minutes "Damn I'm tired but I am going to watch this game and enjoy my wifes Angels losing".

75 minutes....unconcious. My wife said she could hear me snore from 3 rooms over and all I could think of is....PAYBACK...LOL

Good shit. I love it except for the smell. It smell like rotten goat cheese man, and tastes like it to

I enjoyed sleeping so much, I was awake at 630 (which is late for me) but laid in bed until almost 930.

HS Iso machines are brutal on the shoulders, I won't use them anymore without a lift off on the first rep regardless of the weight. It is that first rep from the fully loaded that kills you. Taking a break from shoulders for a little bit sounds like a good idea.

Food today was low all around but for some reason I just wasn't hungry. Not like me at all. Usually I am pacing the house on the weekend trying not to eat. Not sure what is up with that.

On the plus side, definite change in my upper structure. The chest is "squaring" up with a deeper seperation between traps and shoulders. I say deeper but its all relative because there is still a lot of fat around.

I am not seeing the changes as fast with my fat intake level this high. I will drop it back down to 60 a day for a week or two and see how I respond. Protein was low today but that was due to no hunger.

BD I don't like your lack of sleep. Try 2 gms. GABA at bedtime. A harmless amino acid that can induce quality sleep. A side effect is that it releases HGH naturally from the pituitary gland. Only REM sleep (which it seems you are missing) does that. Dave P is a GABA fan.

Well, I thought I'd have trouble sleeping last night after the large pepperoni pizza I had for dinner topped off with some great NY deli cheesecake. But ended up banging the wife for 30 minutes at bedtime....you know...the kind of banging that is spurned on by "You call that fucking? Harder, boy...let me have it all" and " I wanna cum again" kinda talk. So I was laying in a pool of sweat with my HR about 160 for awhile after. Then I wake up out of a great dream about how I'll celebrate after winning the Rx Challenge, with the wife riding willy from on top. Damn woman! Can't you get enough??? I think she's been dippin into my stash and loading up on Sustanon. We end up having a simultaneous, fourth of July ending and I get to grab another 4 hours of peaceful slumber before she....well....let's just say that the pizza wasn't enough in the calorie dept to sustain the following 12 hours. I was BEAT when I got up. Good thing Perkins is close to the house. 2 stacks of pancakes recharged me. I can make it thru the day now!

Shit just keeps getting deeper man. So, I can't sleep for almost a month now so I go to the Dr today. Last month she said my BP was way high but would test it next time I came in. Well this time it was a tad higher. Fuckme....like this is dangerous high. So I go in for some Ambien and come out with Ambien and bp meds with a follow up for cholesterol which if its anything like the family bp, its high too.

Maybe thats my problem....I don't get high.

Well this certainly explains why I can't sleep. I was simply blaming my "supps" but this could definitely be a reason for this. I start taking the stuff tonight so we will see what happens.

I know I was texting with Missy today... I'm glad you went my friend... I know that feeling of no sleep... its ok a day here a day there but days on end... NO GOOD..

I was falling asleep but would only get about 2ish hours than BAM was wide awake... when I F'd up the direct deposit for payroll I knew it was time to do something....

So get some sleep dude.. Ambien rocks... I took it for about 7 to 10 days, one pill a good 8 hrs before I wanted to be up... and eventually my sleep regulated itself... I got all my refills filled just in case it comes on me again I have that back up...

just make sure you take it early enough so your not left groggy in the AM... if you plan to be up at 4am, then take it my 6 or 7pm... so it can kick in and make you sleepy

Get some much needed rest last night thanks to my new friend Ambien. However, I will reserve judgement for a few nights since most things will work for one night with me and then nada. I purposely did not go to the gym this morning because I know my body is worn out a little bit from the BP and the insomnia. But, I will be back at it again tomorrow no worries.

I can't let G and MG get a head of me.

6 oz chicken breast

Broccoli soup (little bit under the weather so I went with comfort food)

Meal 5 on way home at 430

Turkey meatloaf and broccoli

Meal 7 before bed
Whey shake with dried egg whites (70g protein)

I am not really hungry right now and the plan was to have another chicken breast with my shake before I head home. I had a diet coke today which i never have, and it just filled me up. So the good is that I'm not hungry like usual, but the bad is, I'm not hungry like usual! HAHA!

Its about 1600 calories thanks to the diet coke. I worked it up last night. Should give me enough protein and a little short on carbs but I took my fats down due to my current physical ailments. I have to play with the numbers to get the calories up without the fat now. It will take a few days to get it right.

I just found out I have to skip the gym tomorrow in liue of the Doctors office first thing in the morning. I have no idea how long bp meds take to work but 2 days in, I feel very slighly different and there is no logical way my cholesterol is normal at this point. Damn reject family genes.

Of course my Doctor knows nothing about modern medicine and food and diet so even after telling her I have already lost 65 pounds, she preceeded to tell me how oever weight I am for my height while not taking any consideration into lbm. Absolutely I am fat but this lady is a class A moron. I just can't find a decent Doctor around these damn country places.

I feel like a huge weight has been lifted off my head right now....PUN INTENDED.

I don't feel the best I have ever felt but I sure do feel like the death cloud is done hovering over me for a change. The last few days was pretty fucking scary so knowing the biggest and scariest parts are almost taken care of makes me feel much better.

So now, the best part is I got the ok to resume training! WOOHOO.

After giving what seemed like my 4 gallons of blood this morning, all i wanted to do was eat of course. so I had a Whey shake from O.N. and then sun dried tomato and basil tuna with a few crackers. I hate tuna but thanks G for turning me on to the flavored stuff. I can at least stomach it and get it down. Followed that with a spoonful of natural pb and I'm good to go.

we are 'learning' each other... he is really trying me this week... but I take that as if he is not being on his best behavior then he is becoming more comfortable with me.

we were supposed to go see Toy Story and Toy Story II in 3D today but he has gotten bad remarks on his daily report twice this week and today he showed his little attitude and tossed a box of crackers on the floor in the car..

I said ok, looks like we are spending the afternoon at home in the boring apartment... I do not reward bad behavior... period... he came to me like an hour later and said "i'm sorry" - I told him that I love him and he is a great kid but I don't love his actions and attitude sometimes... and while I appreciated the apology and his picking up the crackers that did not mean we were going to the movie now... and if he could remain on good behavior and get his room picked up, we might be able to go to the video store and rent 1 movie - but Toy Story in 3d was not happening today at all....

I swear step parenting is harder, to me, than parenting, there is a fine line and you come in mid stream, its diff when you've been with them since birth...
