Something you guys eat often or not so much? I just had a turkey sub and 12 salmon rolls with cream cheese in it.... MMMmmm... Only eat it like once a month though.

I assume you mean 12 pieces of salmon (two rolls). Paired it with a turkey sub huh? Interesting combination...

I eat the stuff at least once a week but much more if I'm working late. I usually stick with individual sushi pieces although I may switch to sashimi if I'm trying to limit carbs.

True that. Notice above when I said "if I'm working late". Nothing tastes quite as good as free sushi on the company ;)

Twice a month? Try twice a week!

All the japs at the sushi places look at me like im crazy when I order 6-8 orders of Salmon rolls....or 40-50 Nigiri Salmon.
Except one place that is used to me doing that on the norm.....but when they have new staff they always look at me like i have 3 eyeballs.

They sell it here in the grocery stores. Have someone rolling them out and putting them in a little cooler in front....

For 12 salmon rolls with cream cheese and some green shit in there it's $6.

I have no 'expense account'. The best we can do is a $2 off coupon for Baja Fresh, for anything > $6.

My downfall is the Whole Foods across the parking lot from my gym. Some days when I just don't feel like making my last meal, its Ohhh so easy to walk over & pick up a flat of tuna & salmon (skip the rice) and matching tuna & salmon rolls (no other stuff in them) -- but that still runs $15.

Twice a week. 2 orders of Salmon and Mackerel Sashmi (a total of 36 pieces) with A LOT OF GINGER! This is on weekdays.

On weekends I'd definitely go with an all you can eat sushi buffet for a cheat (if I'm not in the mood for McDonalds).

I'd eat it for every meal if I could afford it. Love yellowtail, but the absolute best is toro.

You're from NYC obviously. Have you ever been to Tomoe (Thompson between Bleeker and Houston next to Lupa). It's a little shit hole of a place but there's always a line to get in and I don't know where they get it but they've got the freshest and tastiest sushi there.

I ate sushi almost daily in Hawaii. There were many pretty decent places in every shopping center. In my current location it's only available in sushi bars, making it fuckin' pricey and less convenient. I miss it and other local asian fusions more than anything else about Hawaii.
