Well, guys and gals, I have stepped down as Forum Leader here at Rx. I disagree with some policies, and we'll leave it at that. I'm not only stepping down, I'm leaving this site. Please continue to train for the Rx challenge. I'm sure Dave will still follow thru with it.

It's been a fun ride. I've really enjoyed you all immensely.

Rick

Rick, I sure hope to see you in Pittsburg.

I understand the Forum 'thing'. I have been in and out of them several times. I would never ever do the 'moderator' or 'leader' job however......

I have reached an impass with admin here and cannot in good conscience continue as an FL. I cannot continue contributing as a member either because it would mean closing my eyes to the issue causing my retirement. No hard feelings towards Dave. And I'm sure they'll find a good replacement. You all are good people and the masters forum is the nest here. I will miss you all. And I will see you at the Arnold!

I met Rick through this forum and had the pleasure of spending time with him and his wife in KS. He has always been straight up with me and eager to help in any way and I'm sure with everyone else as well. I certainly will miss his imput and quick wit. This has gotten to be a really good forum and as with Rick, feel another good FL will be set up.

I am l fairly new here, still trying to figure out the do's and don'ts of this place, it seems like one of, if the not the best hardcore site on the net, which is why I am staying here.

Not sure what the FL are suppose to do nor what their responsibilities are, but Ric was and is a great person to learn from and seems very educated in a sport where most seem to pussy foot around it.

With that said Ric, I hope you can come to a resolution with whatever made you want to leave in the first place and that you consider sticking around.

I read all the crap in the open Forum directed towards Eric by the younger air heads who simply HATE us old timers. Perhaps that was contributing??

Well when you do find a new forum to call home please make sure you get the word to us so we can continue to talk. I liked your honesty and drive which showed that at any age it is never to late to get in shape to kick some A@@!!!

Now that's a surprise, and not a good one!

Esplendido and I have very little in common except that we're of a 'certain age' and lift weights.

For one thing, he's an 'old hand' at poundin' the iron, whereas I got started late.

Esplendido almost always had something valuable to contribute, and the forum is poorer without him.

Bummer, very good contributor and representative of us older guys.

Good luck esplendido!
