Your feet should be planted firmly on the ground. Maybe get some blocks. Feet, shoulder blades, butt. If you have your feet on the bench you are losing a lot of power. You may also hurt your back. You are also losing power if they dangle off the floor.

the shoulder is a tiny set of muscles, the isolation moves are really hitting a small muscle. It is really tough to get stronger, but keep working on it.

You don't need a lot of weight.
Are you keeping your arms straight?

Bend them slightly, such as when doing side laterals. Trying to keep the arms locked will prevent you from handling heavier weight.

I do bend them some now and it does help - and doing them one arm at a time with the heavier weights help me

I am not very good at numbers either - I used 20's at 8 reps 25's at 6 reps typed it wrong - but the 25's were not pretty in the mirror

Arm Day - it really suffered today - worked out late last night and had to do an early one today or wouldn't get it in.
I also had to shorten it up to 3 sets not 4 and couldn't do the incline db curls - hurt my right shoulder to bad.

1 arm rope pulldowns x 3 sets
Close grip bench press x 3 sets
upside down bar pressdowns x 3 sets
BB curls x 3 sets
EZ Bar preacher close grip curls x 3 sets
Incline db curls - could not do
I did concentration curls instead - x 3 sets

I still got a good arm pump since I didn't have time to rest much in between sets

Survived my first night sleeping in my workout room - it was actually cozy - threw a futon in there.

Working out these next few weeks will be spotty - I have an over whelming amount to do and it has gotten very crowded in the room so no squatting for now. So I will keep the work outs short and sweet.
Packing and moving things should be a workout by its self.

Excellent!!! I too lose my appetite when stressed, unhappy, upset, etc. So I know how hard it can get. But eating through it really does help. It's harder to deal with everything when you're not properly fueled. And of course you can't really work on your fitness goals when you aren't fueled.

Comfort food is fine!!!! You are not on a diet to lean out! Your cal target is below maintenance as it is so stop worrying about that. If you want a bagel, eat a damn bagel!!! :D

Sounds like a great step in life for you. Awsome. Whats in that exercise room equipment wise? I ask because sometimes for a very few dollars you can bring in grips/ropes/bands/attachments to make it more complete.

You noticed that I did not ask about the kitchen, although pic above is nice. All you need there is a frige, can opener, blender and a pot to boil. :p

Paula, you are going to find out that life is so much better when you are not constantly surrounded by negativity. You are a strong woman who does not need a man to complete you. Compliment you, sure, on your terms. But not need and therefore accept less than you want. You'll see how much you'll start to value your time, which includes "me" time. Changes can be scary, but mostly because of the newness. Not because of a fear of some sort of failure. It's going to be great!

Don't fall for it!!! People like that thrive by beating down the other person so they're more pliable. It has nothing to do with your real capabilities. Besides, this shouldn't be an issue about making it without him. You're not a child and he's not your father.

A little over a week... my daughter and I move into are girls place
We have bought almost all new stuff so we have a new start with stuff we like. She picked Brown and hot pink for her bathroom and bedroom.
I picked tans, dark brown and aqua for mine and for the kitchen.

You're doing good with your training and food considering everything you're dealing with. But definitely aim for your diet and workout targets.

Phfftt. You're not a child much less a foolish child. Get pissed off girl!!! Don't turn your emotions on yourself. Point them at that mess of a man where they belong and fire them up! Now that is liberating!

I have today off so I can get a lot done today including a good shoulder workout and real food.
I am about half done packing - a week from tomorrow I start moving the little stuff and offical moving day is Sat.
I can't wait.
Pam, I know I should get pissed but I am more of a person that just advoids the problem thats why it took so long to finally make the break but theres no going back I want this and it's the right thing for me and my daughter so she knows what a relationship should and shouldn't be.

I didn't get an expensive one, I think it's an oster, but I made sure it was a powerful motor.

You could splurge and get a vitamix one like tropical smoothie uses...only $575

If I had some money I might get this for 92.50
