I didn't get an expensive one, I think it's an oster, but I made sure it was a powerful motor.

You could splurge and get a vitamix one like tropical smoothie uses...only $575

If I had some money I might get this for 92.50

I like my shakes but for $575 I could get a lcd tv for my bedroom.

Shoulder night - short and sweet ...very sweet - felt strong

DB shoulder press x 4 sets
bb front raise x 4 sets
lateral hammer grip x 4 sets
face pulls x 4sets

Food strong today too

meal 1 - 3 eggs / ezekiel bread
meal 2 - Jamba Juice whey drink
meal 3 - Late lunch out with daughter at panda express - 2 chicken entrees - 530 cals / 51 pro / 17 carbs / 23 fat eating out is scary:hypno:
meal 4 - 1 1/2 scoops whey / pb

Smiling is a little harder these days but it's getting better
I can't wait to see what muscle gain I can get when I get back from Columbus - I should be very motivated as well as having a new place to workout , time to focus on my food and less stress.

My room is scary ...it's amazing I don't kill myself moving around in there trying to workout.
Futon still sucks to sleep on - just so tired I sleep anyway
Thanks, my hair gets weird waves going when I let it grow - so I am happier with it short.

Why is it always accountants that have the huge heads? If we have such huge brains, you'd think we'd be smart enough to not go into accounting...

Packed most of the day then shopped now I have to pack some more.

Meal 1 - 3 eggs / ezekiel bread

then a long span with no food - grabbed a banana and a spoon of pb at my moms while running around

Meal 3 - 5 oz chicken / 1/2 c cottage cheese - I was starving

Should be able to get 2 more meals in

I am 80% packed and ready to move :)

from packing and lifting boxes all day yesterday my arms, shoulders and upper back ( shoulder blade area ) are so sore... Glad it's leg day

I tend to do that, In that case you have my sympathys... so any other things to Vocationally or careerwise do you think you might try? PS my job sucks and is extremely boring 90% of the time, only took it cause personal training is soooooo slow right now.

I'd love to go back to school for IT or some type of astronomy-type science.

Leg night finally done - packing really gets in the way of training - only 5 days to go until move day

SLDL's x 4 sets

leg ext x 4 sets
leg curl x 4 sets

decent work out considering I am pretty wiped out lately

It will be a shaky week for food - I wish my emotions didn't connect to eating - I will work hard to get cals in.

You'll adapt fast :) And probably realize a sense of relief and reduction of stress. I'm excited for you!

Definitely keep an eye on the food. I too lose my appetite when stressed, mad, upset, etc. Still gotta force it in.

I am going back to the I am sick theory ...only had one meal and it didn't stay with me long . Drinking some G2 Gatorade - not sure if I could handle any food and I already packed my bullet blender

I had to take another sick Day just not doing any better.
Mom says I need solid food like toast but moms say that stuff

Part of my problem is my house is in boxes so my food choices are limited I did try scrambled eggs last night - was not a great choice.

when I had that diarhhea thing a week or two ago, yogurt seemed to be appealing for some odd reason

I seem to catch what ever you get ...must be a coach / student thing :)

I don't have any yogurt - actually I have almost nothing
With moving this week I didn't grocery shop - if I am up to it I will run and get some yogurt , that actually sounds kind of good.

Moving this weekend and leaving for Columbus on Thursday.
Columbus was already planned and I didn't want to cancel it.

Get yourself some pepto or immodium. Drink gatorade and eat popsicles. For solid foods, you may not be able to eat much for a day or two. The brat diet is what's always taught, bananas, applesauce, rice, and toast (tea). Really anything you feel like eating is fine. Just stay away from hard to digest foods. Time is the real treatment. Yogurt will help replace the bad bacteria.

Had toast - so far I'm ok but haven't had any liquids today yet

On my way to the store I rode past my apartment and took a pic - I need to get excited again - it happens tomorrow :)
I chose greek yogurt and bananas to eat

My apartment is the one on the second floor and had windows going along the whole apartment - the balcony is off my bedroom

I did well with the Gatorade earlier and yogurt so I think I am past the worst of it.
I will know soon I just had chicken and brown rice, I need some energy for the move.
Can't believe it's tomorrow - it came faster then I thought

It was moved up a day ... which worked out great
My daughter and I will move some stuff today and tonight the big stuff gets moved.
My weight bench is apart and in the garage and so are all my weight plates and db's that was a workout my itself last night.
My family is going to hate me after carrying all those weights up the stairs:p

Way cool to walk down the stairs and walk 2 mins and be working out. There were only 2 guys in the fitness center and they were doing cardio.
It was like being at a resort ...people in the pool and spa - some barbecuing and a lot strolling on the walking paths.

Jess ( daughter ) did 2 sets of all exercises - she did great and is now excited about lifting. :)

Chest day / leg night - great first training day here at the apt fitness center

incline bench machine x 3 sets
flat bench machine x 3 sets
low to high cable flys x 3 sets
leg press feet close x 3 sets
leg press feet apart x 3 sets
leg extensions x 3 sets

Need to make dinner ...we are very hungry :D

It was a great time ...and Jess is really strong so I hope she will stick with it...Plus I love the bonding time with her ...we even made dinner together afterwards.

Food is making it's way back up in cals today - I was really hungry after the workout.

Made it to Columbus ...we got to the Hotel around 12:30 am and my friends wanted to eat ...we are from Vegas so we use to getting food anytime ...doesn't happen in Columbus:)
We did find a small local Waffle House open - there were some scary patrons ...but my egg sandwich was great.
My friends are questioning why they followed me to Columbus ...once they hit the expo they will know why:D

Back from Columbus and totally wiped out ...fun is hard work :p

I will seriously start training and eating to build , with the encouragement of Mike and seeing so many awesome bodybuilders this weekend - I am totally ready to amp things up.

I also want to say I am blessed with some totally cool friends that made this last weekend one of the best weekends I have ever had and I really needed a weekend like that badly :)

I was there all day Friday and went back for a while on Sat. late afternoon - totally spaced on what booth you were at.
My friends and I left this morning it took all day to get home with all the flight delays ...but the trip was well worth it.

Since The Arnold I have been really thinking about my muscle goals - now that I am on my own, I can call my own shots on this ...so bigger it will be.
Since my biggest problem has been food - I have been experimenting with my food to find things that give me the marcos I need without the feeling of fullness and it seems to be working.
Thanks Mike for your patience with me ...I know I am not the easiest person to work with.

I do creatine, BA, BCAAs, and glutamine pre and post workout. I'll do one round on nonworkout days.

Thanks Pam ...BCAA's ...thats the extend? I know you have a cheaper way to get them but I don't remember how?

I buy BCAA in powdered form. It's cheap. I mix everything into my sweet potato.

Shoulder training - worked hard but couldn't get 4 sets in for all the exercises - not as full forced as I had hoped for.

Seated shoulder press

Laterals, hammer grip ( can not move up on these )

Coffee- some food and I have to hit the gym early for arms today.

It is Bed Day ...it finally arrives !!! but I have to hang at the apt from 9 - 1:30 waiting for the delivery guys.

Now the coolest part of today ....I was going to do some tri dips negs and I felt really strong so I decided to go for it and I was able to do real dips !! I did 6 decent ones - I was so happy I almost cried ( I know ...no crying in bbing) I did email Coach Mike right away ...I had to tell someone :)

Proud of you, told you that you are a morning person!

Doing a dip is a major first for most people and you did 6! I remember not being able to do any when I first started lifting, and it's such a great feeling to do them.

Slept very well ...must be from all the hard workouts you have been giving me coach:p

Just finished leg training - sitting on the Balcony - beautiful out today
It's a North east view of the Mountains - I live on the edge of town.

Laying leg curl - ( a little bit of a hard time on these - they do not adjust well enough for my short legs )

Did a 20 min walk around complex for cool down - I have to say this is probably my first "real " leg training

you need to explain that leg press and how it maxes out at 210...must be all relative I guess.
