Eating at maintance scares me to be honest - I gain weight very easy.
So I let anything possible get in the way of eating - work -running around
I am not really hungry so if I dont plan my eating ...I dont eat.

Missing meals will affect progress...but you know I don't have to tell you this...;)

I keep a shaker with powder in it my gym bag all the time. You never know when you need to get a "meal" in.

I could live on whey shakes ...it's the real food that seems to get.

I try to eat whole foods as much as possible. Shakes are a supplement but not a real replacement.

I think Mike survived an evening out with the girls...he did much better talking, I think he even laughed a little. :)

can't believe it took you any effort at all to spend $150...even I spent $90 at American Eagle the other day...it took all of 10 minutes to pick the stuff out.

If that had happened to me, I would have beelined it toward Journeys for some shoes, roamed Dillards to see if anything nice was on SALE, and finished up at GNC for some whey LOL (though usually they're overpriced).

So....whad'ja get??!!:p

P.S. Sorry you're not feeling up to par. Knock on wood here with washing hands, layin' out in sun in October, H1N1 shot etc....

At GNC you could probably get a 5lb tub of protein and a couple of protein bars and knock out that 150 pretty quick;)

white new balance watch ( I have been looking for a cool white watch for a while so I was really happy about finding one)

Awwwwright!!!! Dillards has some pretty good sales sometimes. I used to shop there all the time until I wound up with more clothes than I know what to do with!

The irony is my mom used to scold me for being hard on clothes....now they last me a good while.

First day of trying to get my food back up again
I slide so easliy back to not eating when I am not focused and now I have a cold which makes eating unappealing again

Meal 1 - 3 eggs / brown rice
Meal 2 - Chicken noodle soup ( I am sick if I wanted this )/ salad with grilled chicken and balsamic dressing
meal 3 - pro bar
meal 4 - Grilled chicken / brown rice
meal 5 - Whey ( have not had it yet )

My Muscle Milk did come so I have that as a back up on low cal days in the future

Leg Workout - I have to remember not to joke with Mike about my workouts not being hard enough - having Plie squats and Bulgarian splits the same day if a killer.

Squats: 4 sets

SLDL: 4 sets

Only good thing about being sick is that I have taken NyQuil 3 nights in a row so at least I have been getting some sleep.

Back from seeing Blind Side - it was an awesome movie, definately recommend seeing it with your families over the holiday.
It reminds us of how we should all want to better the lives of others , there were 5 of us and we all cried ....even the teens.

Work out at home ...so I am good on the germ spreading :)
If I time my training right I am good to go ....about 1 hour after cold meds and 30 mins after coffee.
Back night tonight wouldn't miss that for anything:D
Tomorrow is rest usually -so if still feeling down I will use it to rest.

Going against the grain here...if you don't have a fever, I think you are good to go, just take it a little easier if you need to on the training tonight. Just be careful.

A STRONG COLD FRONT WHICH HAS MOVED THROUGH THE LAS VEGAS VALLEY HAS BROUGHT STRONG NORTH WINDS TO THE AREA. WINDS BETWEEN 20 AND 30 MPH WITH GUSTS TO NEAR 45 MPH ARE EXPECTED THROUGH 7 PM PST BEFORE DECREASING DURING THE REMAINDER OF THE EVENING. HOWEVER GUSTS TO OVER 30 MPH EXPECTED TO CONTINUE OVERNIGHT.

It was like that one December when I came out for those classes...the high was 32-35 and windy the whole time

Just returned from a early Candle Light Christmas Service at my Church

Just wanted to say that there are few things more beautiful then 1500 people singing Silent Night
To share that with my 15 year daughter with tears in our eyes reminds me of why I have worked so hard ....so I can share as many Holidays with her as possible :)

Because you're fighting yourself right now. You'd like to drop body fat but had to put it on hold. That's tough psychologically. But once you get your metabolism burning, get on thyroid meds, and add a bit more muscle you'll be set for a very productive lean out period.

Leg Day - did get some weight plates for Christmas so I went up 20lbs on my Squat and SLDL's which means I have been way under training my legs to start - did do less reps then I had been

squats x 4 sets
stiff leg deadlifts, bb x 4 sets
stationary db lunges x 3 sets ( still feel my knee not liking these )
plie squats X 4 sets
leg extensions x 4 sets
leg curls X 4 sets

Tempted to start intervals again - but they tend to make my legs look like crap and want to save it for when and if I ever lean out:dunno:

Shoulders/ arms circuit - yesterdays workout got messed up because of personal crap - hate when personal drama gets in the way of training.
Luckily Mike is a great friend and put together 2 days into a circuit so I could catch up

Circuit x 3

Seated db presses
front raises, dbs, at same time, palms down
hammer grip laterals
db upright rows
face pulls
bench dips
palms up pushdowns
rope pushdowns
ez bar curls
hammer curls
incline db curls both hands at once

Just got home from the movies I saw " It's Complicated "
that is also the story of my life right now:dunno:

The movie was great ...lots of funny moments ...my life not so much
but hey it's a New Year and Columbus is around the corner so it has to get better:)

Sounds like a good movie. It is a new year and Columbus is closer than you think. 9 weeks away!!

Finally gave in and went to a Doc about my cough.
It is bronchitis which I thought - antibiotics , codeine cough meds and few days rest.
Will take today as a rest day and see how I am tomorrow.

I used to be those people, can't believe I ever liked not exercising.

Now I feel like shit if I don't go to they gym

I was one of those people once too ...I like to forget about it

My friend brought some old pics of me to see yesterday when we went to the movies - damn I know that was not me

She just wanted me to remember how far I have come and to never give up - especially right now when I am going through hard times.

After taking a rest day to get over this crap, I feel slightly better.
I can not stay down another day - I will go crazy.

Plan for today -

tan - I am fading away ( yes I have become that vain )

food shop - almost out of the good stuff - eggs /tuna / pb /chicken

eat - I need nutition badly

train legs - will do this in the afternoon after getting a couple good meals in

The endorphins and adrenalin secreted during your training today will open your lungs further and you will feel a load better. Rest or nap when you get home. HYDRATE!!!

In GABBAland there is a place where we can all all meet up. Happens around 2am in deep REM sleep. You will know it when you see/dream it...sorta like Machu Piccu. We can have a glass of Pituitin (HGH) together and then partake in things we can't tell Mike about. You can fast track the experience by also taking Arginine/Ornathine and Glutamine Peptides at bed time. See ya ;).

Thanks , I am loving Gabbaland ... ordered the glutamine peptides
adding a little at a time - just about on my own - I can smell the gym already:p
Mike is a nosy coach;)
