Just wondering what you guys think of this stuff. Muscle fortress/6star. I'm cheap and so is this stuff. Is it junk?

Six Star works for me.

Its funny because me and my training partner were talking about this the other day. It was late outside and I needed to purchase some protein powder in order to take it to a play my girlfriend and I had to go see for her class at college. So I went to CVS and purchased the Whey protein Vanilla. Tastes halfway decent and was super cheap. Seems to working fine.

You definitely get what you pay for. It all depends on what you're going for. Personally, I try to limit the calories I'm taking in from whey and go for the zero carb powders. That way I don't have to limit my solid food as much.

Muscle Tech 110 calories, 4 grams of carbs, and 20 grams of protien. The Six Star is 110, 2 grams, 20 grams. So of the two, the Six Star is probably a better choice.

Personally, I go for the isolates. Bodybuilding.com has a great deal on "All the Whey" fat free right now though. Buy 2 and get 1 free. You can get 15 lbs of protien for less than $80.

A friend of mine spent the $75 bucks to have the testing analysis done for protein and carbs. Here's what came back:

Protein listed: 25grams
Actual amount: 13grams
Carbs listed: 2grams
Actual amount: 15grams (mostly maltodextrin...2grams of sugar)

I think six star is a pretty good protien

Zetawill that was from Six Star???? If so that's a big difference 12-13grams on both.

That's just what the report said. My suspicion is that you will not spike insulin in folks with maltodextrin as much as you would with a sugar.
They still have to have 30 -35 grams to fill the scooper. I know that maltodextrin is cheaper than wpc.

I wonder if some of the other companies are doing this as well.

Like my grandfather used to say "If it sounds to good to be true....It probably is."

If this is true you'd be getting a pretty decent weight gainer if you tripled the scoops, but then your $18 jug of protein just became a $54 jug of protein.
I don't buy clothes from Walmart and I don't buy my protein there either.

Why aren't you guys using Krealkalyn over that shitty monohydrate?

I bought Optimum Nutrition at Walmart before. That was a good protein.

6 Star is great I used it for the longest taste awsome too. It's like my sub if I can't get Muscle milk. Only downside is that it has one of those Coffee Mug Scoopers...it goes quick.

Body Fortress actually works real well, and hell, it's a pretty good bargain. So why not!

If you support Walmart you support the degradation of aAmerica.

As for the protein, I only trust one source.

I think it works well, but goat protien works/is the best

I used both brands for some time, never saw any real benefits, whats good from them is that you can take them instead of a in between meal. Never bought any other protein powder, better to buy real food......
