I agree on the tanning part, even though you will eventually do that by the last week. I think just work on your posing a bit more. In the side chest bring the right shoulder a bit farther back in order to display your chest better. Other than that you look pretty good and your physique has nice development all around. Good luck dude.

Great job getting conditioned for your first show. Try getting camera shots that are head on. Were you posing in the mirror? make sure you practice without the mirror. It looks like you are tall so as you continue to train you will keep filling out your physqiue. whats your height and weight and what class do you plan on competing in?

Hey thanks, indeed I started getting my tanning and should be good by the last week. Thanks for your advise on the side chest, thats the hardest pose for me for some reason :S

Pretty for good for your first show. Even though, we all know you physique will fill up in time, you have very good condition and better symmetry. Good FDB shot. What is the name of the show and where is it?

Looks like your right on target! Don't go doing anything drastic in the end. I would say practice your posing for at least 30min, that's a workout in itself. And def start tanning start out slow and work your way up.

Around 209-210lbs if everything goes well I guess

Great well-balanced physique! Keep us posted! Looking awesome! Just sit back on one of your rear legs for your rear bicep and lat spread poses. It seems your right leg appears to be a bit stronger, so use that one. :D

Your legs look sick in that shot, nice work.

Just keep working on that posing.

Take a look at how Arnold did a side chest pose, try it out, I think it will suit you.

All the best.

First show? Very nice! You have something in common with me- and for that matter with Arnold (besides all of us being 6'2", lol). One arm is bigger and more preaked than the other. So I say twist at the hips slightly, bringing the one arm closer (and foreshortened, making it look bigger AND more peaked). This will make your waist (which is really good) look even smaller. Good luck and go kick some ass! I'm impressed.

Good to see you listened to the advices.

I like the new side chest pose. Makes your pecs look much bigger and fuller.

Condition is getting even better too, nice work.

Leigh Carmichael
11-03-2009, 03:28 PM
Hey with the side poses, try sitting into them a bit more and really press your right leg into your left.

You may need to place your right toes towards the middle of your left foot, not so much at the back.

It will push your hams out and give more of a sweep.

Leigh Carmichael
11-03-2009, 03:29 PM
Here is an example, look where his toes are on the right foot.

Also he is pressing his legs together to get the ham sweep showing.

Hope you can understand what I mean haha.

You're defenitely getting there...my only comment would be about your lat spread...from the back...try different angles and film it to see the difference...because that shot could be alot better when you correct your posture on that particular pose...

All the best come contest time...!

I agree man, it could be either the angle or I'm just not hitting the pose correctly.. I couldn't tell you since its actually the first time I see myself from the back.. I'm definitely trying some new ones, thanks for your comment :D
