Hey guys!
I read an article somewhere ( but i cant remember where) that sais that taking creatine and glutamine together its not a good idea becouse the work with the same receptors in the intestine.
Should i take them together or just tale glutamine PW and creatine PWO.
I just thought its good to take glutamin PWO too.
Wht do you think?

I dont see why not I have mixed drinks before one being 2 Intra workouts, with one containing 10g creatine. The other had some AA's and glutamine. As well as mixing bulk powder PWO why not try both seperate and with each other ?

I Could have said this to but I would rather say it a bit differently. Everyone starts off not knowing anything about supplements (and for that matter anything in life).

Seeing that it is combined in many supplements I would have to say no...

I takes creatine and Glutamine together all the time. I just don't mix them together in the same glass as they don't dissolve well together.

Starts out?? You make it sound like he just heard about the possiblity of working out and lifting weights. If he knows what creatine and glutamine are he's more than just "starting out". This IS a stupid question given the fact that it's not the early 90s just like it's stupid for anyone to ask "hey do new cars come with spare tires" nowadays.

a better solution is to save your money and not buy any glutamine since it provides zero performance benefit....at all

Glutamine is a love / hate supplement. Does it improve performance? doubtful.

However, it is great for your immune system...especially for those that overtrain.

I highly doubt that glutamine blocks creatine uptake. That would be like saying that eating carbs blocks protein uptake, they are two totally different things. I take 10 grams glutamine daily because of the immune system benefits. For all the people who say it does nothing, read about glutamine supplementation in burn victims, it promotes healing. More healing = better recovery
