Well, it's official; I'm pissed and releasing all of my aggression in the gym! I am taking advantage of my pent up aggression and leaving it all at the gym. Each and every workout and cardio session I will remind myself that the judging panel said I need to get harder and I WILL BRING A HARD AS NAILS PHYSIQUE TO THE STAGE in Woodbridge, VA on the 21st of November. I will get awarded the placing that I DESERVE! I'm not saying that I'll win, because someone else's 100% can simply be better than my 100% but, I WILL BE MY ALL TIME BEST AND BE AWARDED WHAT I DESERVE!

Hints the name of the title...I was NOT HAPPY when they said that. Oh well, it is what it is. I've started eating carbs before my workouts and going high intensity to really get the cuts deep, so hopefully it pays off and I come in harder. I really do need to be harder for this show, because I will be in the open and the competition will be tougher. It's also a pro qual, so there will be some really good looking guys there. I have to bring my a game!

well from what i have seen with natty bbing shows its hard to see what they do?i have attending several natty show and the judging is all the over the place it seems to me.anyway im sure you will blow their natty socks off lol.

Thanks bro lol. Yeah, even at this show the judging was very sporadic. Paul was shredded and won the pro card. The guy that beat me was big and smooth. The pro that won was not as hard as the 2nd place guy, but he was a local favorite. There were a few others as well that were questionable. There was no consistency though; sometimes they picked the big smooth guy, other times they picked the more shredded guy. Maybe they just drew numbers out of a hat before we walked on stage and if they pulled a even number they went with size, and odd number was conditioning lol.

The inconsistency issue probably wouldn't happen at a NPC show.

Thanks man; I've incorporated carbs pre-workout to take advantage of high rep and HIIT training coming in to the show. There are a few local NPC shows here throughout the summer and I might do one if it's close enough to my NGA shows next year.

Ok, today wasn't much of a day as far as the gym goes. I am feeling well rested after the "break" even though I still did 90 min of cardio. I also had a final refeed today. I chose to do a refeed verses keeping in carbs pre-workout, because I really want to deplete hard again before I start carbing on Wednesday, but I still want to get in a few more high set workouts. When I start feeling that my glycogen stores from the small refeed are gone, then I'll simply switch back to doing my normal heavier low set and boring ass long cardio. I should be good for a couple of days before I start having to do that, so I'll hit my legs and chest and shoulders with another high rep day then just cruise in with my final workouts Monday-Wednesday. I also came across these high fiber wraps. They only have 6 net carbs in them for the large ones and 3 for the small ones. The large ones have 12g fiber and the small ones have 7! Freakin Godsend! Here is how Friday went:

I freakin hurt something in my hip today during my quad workout. Hopefully the pain goes away before the show so it's not hurting while I'm posing on stage. I was out and about a little longer than anticipated as well, so I had to grab some food since I didn't bring mine. I am going to start eating full fat keto now, because I am not trying to lose much more weight at all, but I still want to deplete so I can do a really good carb load.

My chins are starting to kill me now, so I'm glad that I only have a few more days until I can rest! They're so bad that it's effecting my leg poses, so hopefully they're pain free come Saturday. I'm sure that a few days of rest will do them good from my last workout around noon on Wednesday until prejudging on Saturday.

FUUUUUUUUCK! I CAN'T WAIT UNTIL SATURDAY FINALLY GETS HERE. I hate the final week the most. Does this look good? What is that? Fat or water? Hopefully that tightens up. Hopefully this fills out. Am I really taht small? Did I look better two weeks ago? Am I gonna look better this time around? Where did I go wrong then? Can I fix it now? Did I "overdiet"? Why the fuck am I doing this again? I hate prep week! Do I do this or that? He said to do this, but he said that it was retarded and to do that. Fat load or carb load? Both? When do I eat this? Should I eat that instead? What the fuck! FML! Lol, just a few thoughts.

I try, but I will admit that the other day, I went overboard with the peanuts and ate like an extra 4 ounces...I went to the treadmill for an extra 2 hours that day though. Was it worth it...fuck no, because now my damn chins are fucking killing me! lol I made my girlfriend take all of the peanuts out of the house and hide them somewhere, because if I start on them, I won't be able to stop. I absolutely will not cheat on carbs, because then I know that I'll have to be out there sprinting to work those damn things off, so now with no more nuts in the house, I should be a good boy lol. Even with the slip up, it only added in at the most 1000 extra calories, mostly from fat, and I did the extra cardio to try and get that off. Plus, I would have still been under 3k calories for that day and hell a pound of fat is 3k calories, so I'm not kicking myself too much for it. I'm fucking ready for this shit to be over with, though. 20 Weeks on a diet is way too fucking long!

I can honestly say that was the 1st time that I did it the entire 20 weeks. The peanuts were good, but fuck that cardio sucked. At least the Cowboys were playing, but those bastards lost! Fuckin Romo throwin picks on the goal line and dumb ass Roy Williams dropping balls and fumbling basically in the open field. Underachieving bastards!

Well, it's been a fun 20 weeks, but it's finally winding down. Saturday is approaching very fast and then it's all over with for this year. I have learned a lot about not only my body, but myself as well during this prep. I tried a shitload this time around on Wednesday and all is going well so far. I woke up really tight this morning and I'll keep getting tighter as prejudging comes closer, so it was a success! I'm about to hop in my car and make the 7 hour trip to Woodbridge and just pose and relax in the hotel until my number 1 fan, my girlfriend Kristin gets in later that evening. I'll put some tan on tonight and touch up in the morning when I wake up and then it's game on at 1230. I like the late prejudging time, because it gives me time to dry out even more if I need to and it also gives me time to get in an extra meal and be fuller. Hopefully I can walk away with a class win up there, but the field is going to be really deep, so as long as I get a rightful placing, I'll be happy. I just want to take a little time to also thank my sponsor, LG Sciences for all of their support. I used a few of their products along the way and they helped tremendously. I have really come to love the BC&EAA and E-911! 2 Great products that helped me through many a cardio sessions in those final weeks. Thanks man. I just got in and stripped down to take a look. I am really tightening up nicely and I still havent cut the water yet, so I'll only get better tomorrow as long as I stay away from the crap tonight lol. Hopefully I can tighten up a tad bit more between now and then and look my best ever on stage tomorrow! I'm pretty confident right now, and I can't wait for my old lady to get in so we can put on the tan and really get a good look at myself. I'll try to post pictures tonight if I have time. Thanks for the vote of confidence bro. I am looking really good this morning and I'll only tighten up as the day goes on. We'll see, hopefully everyone brings their a games and this is a tough show and we all get placed where we deserve. 1230 Prejudging, but I won't hit the stage until like 1330 or 1400, so I'll be able to suck out that much more water before I get under the lights. I'll let y'all know how I think I did after prejudging. Well I'm off for some more sweet potatoes cranberries and chicken in about an hour; it'll be the last meal with protein before I get up there.

It was a really tough class today. I was looking at the pics and I think I got 3rd. The guy that I think is going to win stood next to me the whole time and they moved another guy over next to him, so I think they were 1-2 and I was third. I'll let yall know when I can. Hey guy's. Sorry for the delayed update; I was busy last night after I got back from Virginia. It was a tough class and I wound up taking second to a guy that was on a tare. He had just won the Light heavies down in Florida at the NGA Florida Championships and was edged out my fitallpaul for the pro card. Then, he participated in an NPC show last week and won the light heavies at that show as well. Finally, he came in at Virginia and we battled it out on stage and he took the class and went on to win his PRO CARD in the overall. Congrats Steve on a great showing(rr1bmx on here); thank you for pushing me to the max. I'm gonna be training harder than ever this offseason and try to get my pro card next summer and then I'm coming after you my man lol. Nothin but love, nothin but love lol. It was a great show and very well organized and I'd love to compete in it again next year, but hopefully I won't be able to lol. I learned a lot and was very happy with the outcome. Now I can breathe and pack on some weight instead of having the stress of a tedious prep. I'll get some pics up later on tonight; I'm at work now and don't have access to them. Thank you all for the support!

Thanks man. I was happy with the results. Steve and I really pushed each other hard up there, but he had it that night. I need size to compete in that division. I weighed in at 178 and the class goes all the way up to 189, so I have some room. I'll take my time and make sure that I come in in shape though; I'd rather be peeled than smooth just for a few extra pounds. I've got my eyes on a pro qualifier in July next year, so I'll be starting my diet for that show in mid March and I'll hit a couple of warm ups along the way.

Thanks bro. Thanks for all of the tips along the way, especially with the posing. I'm extremely motivated going into this offseason and I can't wait to see how it goes. Gotta put more on the ole legs and add some width before I get up there next summer. I know I can get ripped now, but I have to figure out how to put on some size now.

Come on Mr Computer illiterate lol. You had that shit from the get go. If you need more size than I NEED more size lol. Your width and quads were great up there. We made it a good show pushing each other like that. We go back and forth in some of the shots and others are hands down one way or the other, so I was glad to go up against you and I'll be getting that card and coming to hunt you down in the future! lol. Now get your ass in the gym and prepare for the pros!

It filled me out, but I spilled a little, losing quad separation and blurring my lower abs and lower back a little bit, so lesson learned there. It's not like it cost me a placing or anything, but it's good to know now. Thanks again.

Yep. I'm gonna stick it out with sweet potatoes and chicken like I did for the Florida show. I knew that I didn't win the class, so I figured I'd experiment with it. Now I know what to do.

The inconsistency issue probably wouldn't happen at a NPC show.
