I'm tentatively planning on doing both of those shows. This is my first season as well. I'm looking forward to it. Been to the Northeast a couple times as a spectator.

Whoohooo. RxMuscle should send a crew to cover this with all us members doing the Can/Am. I am so fired up for this!!!! Are you guys going to be staying at the hotel? Live close by enough for us to all go out and eat after...... and this is my most important question of all because we do not have them in canada(that I know of).Is there an IHOP in the Buffalo area????????????

Haha... I don't know my plans yet for that night. I have a 2 year old at home and we only live an hour away in Rochester, so that leaves a lot of things up in the air.

I'm not a Buffalo resident, but I am pretty confident the city has at least one IHOP. ;)

Buffalo is full of places to eat. Email the promoter, he will guide you on that. The show is right near Hertel Ave. Ton of Italian Resturants there.

There is an IHOP on Maple Road in Amherst. There are also 2 "Original Pancake Houses" one in Amherst and the other in Williamsville. I just had some Egg Nog pancakes on saturday.

Ahh.. IHOP, where all BBing competitors MUST go immediately after a show -lol.

Good luck bro, read everything you can, and once you pick an approach, don't flip flop back and forth as you read other approaches. There are a lot of ways to accomplish your goals, but you have to be committed to see it through.

I will give you advice as a "first timer" things I do are different because I have learned my body more and more as you will learn yours. The learning NEVER stops. Personally, I'd throw the BF stuff out the window. This is no disrespect to anyone who uses them, I just prefer going by visual, as does my coach. The judges only know what you look like and your weight class, thats it.At 5'9'' 220 I would guess you have a minimum 30lbs to drop. I would figure out how many weeks out I am, and go for 1.5lbs/week. This will give you 20 weeks. You might not drop weight a week and might drop 4 the next. Every body is different. This should be the right amount of time though. Also it allows the skins elasticity to tighten up. This is usually more of an issue with people that were heavy for a while to get it back in. As far as cardio goes I'd start at about 30minutes 4 days/weeks if your doing none to begin with. Then depending on if your on schedule add in a 5th day. I do low intensity. If things are still not tightening up as needed then add in another day, if need be, bump up to 35 or 40 minutes last little bit. Once again, depends if your on track, basically, all is good, dont mess with it. Things need to tighten up, add some in. Hope this helps you. If you have the choice of either eliminate some carbs or increase cardio, increase cardio. More food is always a good thing.lol.
